I have been on a journey for a little over a year to get in shape and improve my overall health. I…read moream a 30 year old male and until a year ago I was morbidly obese. I decided to change my life and did as much research as I could about losing weight the "smart" way. I combined weight training and cardio training for a year. I ended up losing 130lbs. I was 340lbs and I was able to get down to 210lbs. Even though I felt much better I was constantly getting little nagging injuries. On top of that I wanted to switch gears and start training more towards bodybuilding since I found a love for it over the past year. I decided to look for a trainer so I wasn't doing more harm than good. I decided to go with Kami at Fitmiss Training because she had a ton of experience and qualifications. I don't think I could be happier with having Kami as my trainer. Currently I have had 9 sessions with her and I have learned more than I did my entire year of research/trial and error. She not only taught me correct form (not to mention how important rep speed and form is in training), but she has also put together a great nutrition plan to perfectly fit my fitness goals. Along with the nutrition plan she has been teaching me the importance of when you eat throughout the day as well as what type of food to eat in the morning vs. at night. I couldn't be more pleased with Kami at Fitmiss training. I am already seeing the gains in muscle mass, improvements in form, as well as knowledge of weight training overall. I fully recommend Fitmiss training for anyone looking to reach their fitness goals whether that is losing weight, body building, or just getting healthier in general. I contacted Tim (the owener and trainer) several weeks before and he could not have been nicer. Since I was not familiar with the area he was kind of enough to give me directions to the box. At that time I had been going to Crossfit for several months near my home and was looking forward to going to another one, especially out of state to see how things work. The one day I came in, I worked out with another young lady. Unfortunately, I re-aggravated a back injury so I had to cut back my work out. Tim properly showed me how to do everything and continually pushed us during the WOD even though I was in pain. While the box is small, they have all the necessary equipment to run a great Crossfit. If I am ever in the area again, I'm coming back!

They charged it right away after my 1st session. The requirement to put your card on file to "book your free sessions" was a red flag right away. 2. They said it would be $160 a month for unlimited work out sessions but I would get the 2nd month for free and there are no hidden fees. It actually ended up being $170. They said I had to sign the paper work right away to get this deal. 3. They require you purchase a heart monitor to take their classes. I thought that the heart monitor was just part of the class because the membership itself is expensive. No. They require you buy it. And it's $140. Or you can set up a payment plan and it's an extra $40 a month. This was not mentioned to me at all. The additional fees just keep building. I was going to cancel but I feel like I can't even use up my time left there because I'm not going to go buy a heart monitor or sign up for a monthly fee to pay for said heart monitor. Besides these factors, the coaches are wonderful. You work in small groups and they work hands on with you. It's a clean, friendly environment. Additionally, I love the idea of a heart monitor but charging $140 for one just to take the class truly is a hidden fee. When I asked gym staff how much it cost you could tell that she was hesitant to tell me the cost! Coaches are amazing- Gym staff seems to actually be full of sales representatives.
