Sue and I stopped over at the Min-Y-Mor to grab a pint before meeting up with friends for dinner…read more This is a place she would frequent while she was over here a few years ago living with her grandmother. Located right across from the beach this would have definitely been a great place to catch the sunset over the Irish Sea. Too bad we didn't have enough time to sit here and see that on this trip. Hopefully next time. Another cask conditioned ale (Abbot) went down very easily and especially with these views of the Barmouth Beach and Irish Sea. The Min-Y-Mor has a pretty large grassy area out front (or probably back actually) with a ton of tables. You have to order inside, but you can bring your drinks out with you. Another cool local joint.

Between the 5 of us we covered most of the menu, and no-one had a bad word to say. We didn't have any starters, and only I had a desert which was the home-made honey cake. Again, delicious. The only problem was the long time it took for our drinks and the bill to come. We also asked for more drinks during our meal, but none ever arrived. It was obvious that they were very busy, but I could see staff at the bar that I'm sure could have brought drinks over. Don't be too put off though, for the food and the price, we would definitely go back.
