We've ordered pizza from this location for years. This is the best option for pizza in this area and it's consistently good. Only downside is their staffing if very inconsistent. Because of this, plan ahead especially if you want delivery, it can be a very long wait. read more

Small town pizza spot with VERY tasty red sauce (even coming from a New Jersey Italian)!! It's a simple place, nothing fancy, arguably part of the reason we felt so comfortable here. What a great find! We are in the area running a Ragnar (it's a 200 mile relay race from Minneapolis to Duluth. We finished our miles and we're looking for something to eat. We checked the previous help reviews and this place was highly recommended. The service was super fast and very friendly. The food was delicious. I had a veggie pizza and side salad. This location is doing carry out and delivery at this time. They are not allowing dine-in at this time due to Covid. This place is in Wyoming right off of Interstate 35. We stopped in here on our way back from Duluth to grab some pizza. They were very polite and friendly. We didn't order ahead. They told us as we walked in that there was no dine in at this time but we were welcome to order for take out. That is what we did, we ordered a large pizza and they took our number and said that it would be ready in about 20-25 minutes. We waited in the car and they offered to bring it out to us. We asked for utensils and plates to help us eat in the car and they were very happy to accommodate us and give us plenty of cheese and peppercorns for the top of our pizza as well. The crust they have here is fresh and is very thin and tastes great. I even saw someone stretching the ball of dough for the pizza. We loved our pizza and definitely will be back. We enjoyed that the toppings were cut in small, even pieces to ensure that they are cooked and cooked evenly throughout. We will be making it a point to stop here for pizza in the future!! They were steadily busy the entire time that we waited for our pizza. They had several people in the back making pizzas constantly so it is a local hit as well! read more

My oh my, Yelp came through once again and helped us find a great pizza spot. I'm not from the area, my wife and I are passing through on a road trip heading towards the old blues highway 61 going all the way down to New Orleans. We were hungry for dinner and wanted something easy to eat while driving so pizza it was! Linwood Pizza popped up 20 minutes ahead of us with superb reviews so I gave them a call. Just did a simple large cheese pizza half with pepperoni added. He said it'd be about 20-25 minutes and included a $3 discount for picking up which was cool. We arrived, said about 3 more minutes which was perfect timing to wash our hands and settle up the tab then voila! Pizza was in our hands. The guy remembered we were on our road trip and was nice enough to even offer paper plates and napkins. Great customer service and pleasant to speak with. Now the best part, enjoying our freshly made steaming hot cheesy pizza. Sauce was very flavorful, great crispy thin crust and a generous amount of cheese/pepperoni in every bite (of my half of the pizza ). My wife loved her cheese only side as well. Also, without asking, the pizza was cut into small square sizes which made it even easier to eat on the road! If we ever drive through again looking for a good pizza spot this one is it! Hubby is not home for dinner tonight and that means TACO PIZZA for me (he doesn't like it)! Since moving to Forest Lake, I have not found a place that makes this for delivery...until now! I like a certain brand of Ice Cream here in Minnesota that begins with the letter B that is usually hard to find as it isn't sold in Supermarkets. One day my Significant other said want to go for a ride I found your favorite Ice Cream. Well you don't have to ask me twice with that type of lead in. So we get to Linwood's and met the owner. I was really impressed with his sincerity to his business and products he uses. So we ordered a pie and we're not disappointed. I had lived in New York City/New Jersey area for over 20 years and have probably ate pizza in over 50 countries in my life. I liked his pizza As it was hot as in temperature throughout the eating. I really am not a fan of those warming light things and I think a hotter pizza gives you a much better taste of the whole pie, And is more enjoyable. We have been back a bunch of times. read more

I have ordered Linwood pizza a number of times in the past few years from this location. There were some initial difficulties along the way but it seems they have recommitted to what I love about them. They expanded their specials/deals offering. That is paramount for me when feeding a large group. I care about value but I also want to support the local business. Other companies can seemingly compete on value but I feel few can compete on taste. Crust and ingredients seem exceptional. Value has become better recently. It always seems to arrive piping hot too! I really do appreciate the commitment to a value/quality combo. Whenever it is up in the air I'll go with Linwood hands down. read more

Eat here! The pizza is probably a 7.5/10 which is good but not phenomenal (I'm from Chicago so it's hard to be 10/10.) I have ordered just a few times since moving to town but the most recent is why they deserve 5 stars. I placed an order at 7:10 and was told my 21" pizza and bread sticks should arrive in an hour to 80 minutes. At 8:40 I received a call from the delivery guy saying he was 5 minutes away. He was very apologetic though I wasn't that worked up only being 10 minutes late. He arrived and it turns out it was the owner. His driver had left mid shift. He came in and insisted I check out the pizza to make sure it was still warm and looked acceptable. He was so polite and apologetic. I told him it was no big deal but he handed me a $10 bill that I tried to refuse to take. He insisted and though I tried to tip him on my credit card receipt he informed me he would not put it through. He explained he valued my business and knows he can't compete with the Pizza Huts of the world on price but only on quality and service. He felt the delay in delivery was unacceptable and wanted to make it right. The pizza was delicious as always and this proves they value customer service. I really want to give this place a good review. The wait staff was friendly and on top of things. The service overall was good. The restaurant itself is very clean. The pizza crust is very good. The real disappointment, however, is in the pizza sauce. It is really, really, really bland with virtually no flavor. The sauce can make or break the pizza. So I have to penalize my rating of the place because of it. If they could add some zest and flavor to the pizza sauce, this place could be an awesome pizza place! read more
