Seaweed Salad
Shea T.

First off, the seaweed salad was my favorite. The portion is perfect for the price and it has cucumbers. Most times there's only seaweed of it doesn't read " seaweed and salad" on the menu. So finding the perfectly cut pieces underneath the seaweed was delightful. Although the crab was imitation, the Evansville roll was tasty. I'm not a fan of imitation crab, but this roll had a mesh of delicious flavors and again, the cuts were the star. It didn't have a bunch of chunks. This is a take-out setup, but the to-go containers provided a great plating presentation. The wait was short and the price was familiar. I would eat here again. They were very pleasant and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing my order recorded in what I'd like to think was Japanese. Thanks for a wonderful meal that left me feeling satisfied!

Hibachi steak with Crab Rangoon's

This was the BEST food I have had here. I'm in town on business and this food was fast, cheap, and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! I wish I could take them home to NY with me. I called and the food was ready within 10 minutes, all of this was only $19 after taxes, and the staff was very kind. Highly recommend

Hibachi Chicken(Teriyaki) and white rice.

There were maybe three other tables with customers. As soon as we sat down we noticed our table was sticky and had water rings all over it. The person that took our drink order was a child and he seemed extremely nervous. We ordered crab rangoons for our appetizer, the crabzilla roll, and the sesame ahi tuna. The tuna came with either miso soup or salad and I chose salad. My date also ordered a salad on the side. The sushi roll came out very quickly, before anything else. There were no utensils, napkins, or soy sauce on our table. We had to ask for chopsticks. The crabzilla roll tasted okay but was quite small. The crab rangoons came out with one of our salads. We had to ask for our extra salad. The crab rangoon was barely warm but they tasted good. The salads were a nice size but the dressing was extremely heavy on the sesame oil. My ahi tuna came out last and it was obviously very raw. It was supposed to be seared with sesame but it was absolutely cold. I only ate the very few bits that had a slight sear. The flavor was good but I could not get past the raw issue. The snap peas that come with it had absolutely no flavor. It also came with brown rice which also had no flavor. The food was definitely the worst I've experienced. I will also mention the server never came to check on our table. He never refilled our drinks that were empty. We had to track him down to get our check. When I visited the restroom there was no AC and it was very humid and hot. There was no hand soap or paper towels. Overall, a terrible experience. We will definitely not be back.

Lincoln Garden - LoMein? This dish was no good, cant just throw in cheap spaghetti noodles and call it "LoMein". Disappointed in this dish.

"Dr. Better-Half" & I took a while to find the best "Americanized Chinese Take-Out" when we moved…read moreto Evansville, but Lincoln Garden took the prize at the end. Extremely well-made Standards as well as some dishes closer to "real" Chinese dishes... and a few that might be considered "fusion" for Chinese Take-Out, such as my current favorite "Hawaiian Fried Rice" with Pineapple, Chicken & Shrimp (and I believe uses Pineapple Juice in making the rice for a subtle flavor change). They make a mean Lo Mein, always one of my staples with plenty of veggies (again, not over-cooked and a good crunch to them), meat, and thick noodles not overdone and a good bite to them (how does one say "al dente" in Mandarin?), my other standards of Sesame & General Tso's Chicken are well-flavored with a sauce that's just right and not "gloopy". I've also taking a liking to their pan-fried Pork Dumplings as an Appetizer/Small Dish that's got a great balance of "crunchy" and "softer" in the Dumpling and a spicy filling if I'm more-than-usual hungry (I'm a bit of a "Wee Lad" with a smallish stomach, so more than 1 Lg Order and splitting one with "Dr. Better-Half" assures us of Lunch the day after) As for her Vegetarian Self, they offer a large amount of their dishes with Tofu, so she has a good amount of Protein (as opposed to an "Amaturetein") and not just Carbs & Veggies to sustain her. We split 75/25 between Pick-Up & Delivery since it's a 10 minute drive... if you hit all Red Lights, and the Delivery has been consistently early almost every time with no mistakes to our order. The ONLY reason I'm rated them a 4/5 (and honestly, would be 4.5/5 if I could) and not 5 is the lack of the classic "Chinese BBQ Spare Ribs" and "Boneless Ribs". As a native New Yorker where that was on EVERY menu I ever saw, for myself it's an unforgivable lapse. The price is a just a touch high but they stuff their containers "Overflowingly Full", so it evens out and you can never have too much Leftover Chinese for Breakfast! Great food close by, top-notch delivery and great phone and in-store Customer Service... if your on the East or Southside, try them soon!

However, the service was fast, the food was amazing, and the place we ate at was very clean. The person who brought us our food joked with us, and acted like he would give the big bowl toy 11 month old, whom loved that idea. Haha the tables had plenty of condiment options, and plastic forks and napkins in a holder. The food was brought out in huge stainless steel woks shaped bowls. My wife ordered a ramen and it was fabulous. I ordered a Pad Thai and it was extremely good. The crab Rangoon's were awesome as well. Only "complaint" I'd give is the water cups are very small, and I had to go get more water several times. I'd guess it was no more than an 8 oz disposable plastic cup.

Definitely on our regular rotation.

I ordered off the menu (not the buffet) which really confused the cashier. She had no idea what #19 was and I had to show her on a printed menu. Lots of veggies in the chicken and rice - yea . It was hard to find a clean table to sit at. The decor in the dining room is very nice and elegant, and quiet. Technically, yes, you can eat all you want... if you're brave enough to survive the crab rangoon roulette. One bite was cream cheese. The next one? Suspiciously sweet. The third? I think it tried to fight back. The General Tso's chicken was neither general, nor chicken, nor food. It was more like a crunchy mystery coated in a sticky existential crisis. I asked the waiter what it was made of and he said, "Don't worry, it's cooked." That was not comforting. Sushi at a buffet is always a gamble, but this one felt like I was betting my will to live. I took one bite and immediately remembered every mistake I've ever made. Final straw? I opened my fortune cookie and it was empty. Like my soul. Like the parking lot. Like the promises of that buffet. Would I go back? No. Would I send my enemies there? Absolutely.
