She had tons of beautiful charm and chain options to choose from, and when I couldn't decide which ones to pair together, she gave me really thoughtful input that helped me create my perfect bracelet combo. So glad we found Sophia on instagram! A year ago me and my bff got ours done overseas and unfortunately my bff lost hers before she came to the bay to visit me. I immediately looked up if there's any local artists can help getting a new one for her that matches with mine, and we also wanted to add a charm as an upgrade. Sophia was soooo responsive as soon as I reached out, and we got to visit her booth at a pop up market! My bff got a new bracelet, she even loved it more than the first one. And we both added a matching charm on ours! She has so many beautiful chains and pieces to choose from. She really takes her time to perfect her work and ensure you're walking away satisfied. My permanent hand chain broke and she was able to fix it, thankfully. Couldn't help myself and added stacked pinky rings and a thumb ring. Sooo unique and cool. Can't recommend her enough!

I wanted to do something special with my friend that was moving away and found Sophia's shop. We got matching rose gold bracelets with a heart charm. I liked that I was able to design the bracelet by picking the chain, adding whatever charms, and even adding a clasp to it (although I haven't taken it off once yet because I love staring at it lol). Sophia was super patient with us while we stood there indecisively. She never judged us or showed any sign of annoyance. Instead, she gave us suggestions based on our everyday lifestyles as moms. She is also upfront about the pricing. This was truly a special experience that me and my bff got to share. We are so happy with our adult friendship bracelets!

I love Sophia's work and the quality of the charms and chains. I've gone to other permanent jewelry designers, and the links have broken. So in love with my new bracelet! My friend of 25 years and I stopped by Sophia's shop one Saturday morning just planning to get matching bracelets but did not expect such a fun experience. Sophia is super friendly with a fun personality and she carries such a variety of different chains. Had such a great experience getting linked by Soph! It's been about eight months and counting since I got my anklet and I still love it! She is so sweet and gentle throughout the whole process. She checked with me multiple times to make sure that the length was exactly what I wanted. She also checked in on a later date be sure all was well and no adjustments were needed. I chose macarons (of course) and he chose mini cupcakes. I'd been Instagram stalking Macarons A Go-Go for years, so our wedding was the perfect opportunity to finally order from them. And why just go with boring (but still great) round ones, but go with character ones instead? I'm a huge Studio Ghibli and tokidoki fan, so I requested Totoro and the tkdk honey bear, as well as a regular round one in salted caramel, lemon, and mango guava. They were super responsive and really patient when I couldn't make up my mind about flavors, characters, etc. They also delivered the macarons to our venue and set them in a display stand. They looked (and tasted) amazing! I am already looking forward to our next event so I could order more!!!

I'm willing to admit this because well you want my honest opinion and you'll get it. But know this I'm no slouch when it comes to reviews even if I know you. As a matter of fact I'm giving MAGG their first 4-star rating (all are 5 at the time of this writing) You'll understand shortly. First off the creator behind MAGG, Van, is a connoisseur (bordering obsessed) of many things exotically sweet. If she decides to tackle things its with zest (like her Myer Lemon Macs) and reckless abandon (to my waste lines) but leaves you wanting more. Fortunately she did this with Macarons and now presenting it us so we are lucky for it. She's also a sweetheart to-boot. OK enough about that...now about these fancy cookies... At first the MAGG creations were so-so but after trial and error and hundreds of tastings later, I'm extremely satisfied to say that they are just a delight to enjoy. Every flavor I have tried has been on point. Myer Lemon, Spiced Pumpkin, Fleur Del Sel Caramel and Black Sesame were some of the standouts. The flavors stay true to their name and why wouldn't it be when it's fresh natural ingredients. She says she doesn't use food coloring and I'm just bewildered because they are not only a delight to eat but also look at with their vibrance and beauty (never thought I'd use those words to describe a cookie.) Texture wise the shell is crispy to a snap on initial bite moving inward to a chewy center and then finally the amazing flavored inner cream. I swear if I could "oreo" these cookies and lick out the cream I would but the eating them as a whole is what experience a macaron is about and MAGG does that well. Before I didn't even take notice of a macaron simply because they never really made an impression. Now that I have been re-introduced to them I have sought out and compared many others to MAGG and well they definitely hold their own if not blow out most Bay Area bakeries through the flavors. Now for the reason for the 4 stars, these damn things are on a rarity. You want to collect them as much as you want to eat them. Right now MAGG is only available through special order or in Burlingame Farmer's Market. I just wished there was more places to get them at or one place that had them available all the time since I'm not spoiled with tastings at gatherings anymore. If you are into Macarons then you will definitely need to check out Macarons A Go-Go. As a fringe benefit you'll also be supporting a local small business and great person. Highly recommended (when you can find them)!

Maybe the delay ended up being a good thing because after years of daily wear, I can confidently say that my ring still looks as beautiful as the day I got it. Back in 2022, my then-boyfriend and I were deep in the engagement ring rabbit hole, obsessing over diamond certificates and getting frustrated with the options other jewelers were showing us. I found Bonnie through her YouTube videos, which were quite informative, but I'll admit as a Gen Xer, I was initially skeptical of someone with such a big social media presence. Meeting her completely changed my mind. I came in convinced that I wanted a thin pavé band with a full diamond tulip basket. Bonnie was honest and blunt that it was the exact opposite of what she'd recommend for my lifestyle. She would have made it if I insisted, but she warned I'd probably be sending it in for repairs constantly. She was right and I'm so glad I listened. Instead, she helped us create a shared prong setting inspired by the Golden Gate Bridge, a place that meant a lot to our relationship. She executed it perfectly! If you see the Eloise setting on her website, my fiance and I were actually the inspiration for it. The ring is comfortable, durable, and fits perfectly flush with the eternity wedding band (with the same shared prong setting) she later made for me as well. Years later, it has held up beautifully, which really validates all the practical advice she gave me from the start. What really sets Bonnie apart is her honesty and expertise. More than once, she talked me out of choices that would have looked beautiful but worn poorly over time, including convincing me to add the thinnest possible spacer band between my engagement ring and wedding band to protect them from rubbing directly against each other. She also talked my fiance out of getting a bigger stone even though it meant less money for her. The diamond she sourced sparkles like no other. Another detail that I especially appreciated was that when the ring was finished, she coordinated only with my fiance so that the proposal was still a complete surprise. We trusted her so much that we also had her custom-make my husband's wedding band and once again she balanced practicality with bringing his vision to life perfectly. I went into this process with very fixed ideas about what I wanted and Bonnie gently but firmly steered me toward choices that were better for my lifestyle and longterm wear. She's knowledgeable, detail oriented, honest, and incredibly talented. She may seem pricey at first glance, but after going through this process with her, I genuinely think her expertise is priceless. She saved us from expensive mistakes, created rings that have held up beautifully over time, and delivered something even better than what we originally thought we wanted. Every time I look at my rings, I'm reminded of our beautiful Golden Gate Bridge love story and they bring me so much joy.
