We were informed that the car had a bad sensor. Never mentioned anything about the rim being…read morebroken. A month later we took it to discount tire to have the sensor replaced and find out the rim is broken. They KNOWINGLY sold this car with a broken rim

I usually don't leave reviews, but my experience with Tom Kelley was incredibly frustrating and…read moredisappointing. I brought my vehicle in due to compete and sudden transmission failure.. The transmission left us stranded two miles from the dealership where we had to get it towed. Despite explaining the symptoms in detail, but after a "two" brief test drives and told me they did not observe any issues. They proceeded to explain they could further diagnose the transmission but it would be at my expense even though they were aware of my extended warranty I purchased through a Chevy dealership. They seemed more interested in attempting to sell me a completely new transmission that costed thousands despite me insisting my extended warranty should cover it all. I fortunately ended up getting a second opinion at Expert Transmission, where the problem was identified immediately and work under warranty was completed without any issues. Expert Transmission was able to get my Suburban back to me within the week. Of course before Expert Transmission was able to do all this, Tom Kelley Chevrolet would not release my vehicle until I paid their "diagnostic" fee. It's incredibly concerning that a dealership service center couldn't--or wouldn't--diagnose such a critical issue. I trusted them with my vehicle, and that trust was clearly misplaced. I won't be returning and strongly advise others to be cautious before taking your car here, especially if you're dealing with anything more complex than an oil change.
