Can't believe I'm the first one to review this place! Honored…read more Pros - Tons of parking, easy access from I-35. North Branch just had a new overpass installed and the construction is mostly done. Very accessible if you are traveling in either North or South direction. - Some good deals to be had and for the most part there should be something for everyone albeit a slim selection of stores. - It's never so busy that you can't shop here w/o going crazy. Sure there are occasional busses coming from Canada pouring down for outlet shopping, but NOTHING like the Albertville Outlet Mall. I've never seen it unbearable here, most likely due to the size of the town and it being miles from the Twin Cities. Cons - No real place to eat at the mall itself. There are fast food places on either side of the interstate, but nothing once you've parked @ the mall. - Not the best selection of stores. Honestly, I really only go to the Gap outlet, occasionally the Nike store, and maybe a kitchen place. It's pretty barren. If you're used to the Albertville Outlet Mall, you will be disappointed.

My shopping experiences have been good but I've never felt so unappreciated donating. My mom, a…read morenonsmoker, passed away and probably like most people in this position, they donate to local thrift stores. I first brought a couple boxes of teapots she had stored in her garage. After going through the donation drive thru I decided to take a trip inside and look around. They were immediately putting those teapots into a glass case in the store. As the women was putting them out I mentioned they were my mom's who had just passed away and she went on a tirade about how filthy they were and she had to wash them. She made me feel horrible but the funny thing is when I stopped there a week later they were all gone, sold! On another donate day, I had bags of mom's clothes and a few boxes of housewares, hard goods. When the guy outside noticed I was smoking in my car, he refused to take any of it, which was in my trunk. He said it all stunk like smoke and they didn't want it!! How it came directly from my mom's house and picked up smoke odor that quickly is beyond me. I went across the street to Goodwill and they took it all and thanked me. I have vastly changed my opinion of this store and am sorry I have ever donated anything there. I'm sure they made good money on all they things donated from mom, including furniture that they had no problem accepting.

While shopping at Bruce's for four years now, I've enjoyed the staff most of all. The young women…read moreand men are especially cordial, talkative and responsive. Saying hello to your customer is of paramount importance, it lets them know their loyalty is important. Over the past 2 to 3 years, a particular older woman working there has waited on me many times. I can honestly say her attitude borders on hostile. Not once have I been greeted when using her lane. Today was no different. No smile, no hello, nothing to suggest I was anything but an inconvenience. Not once has any other employee demonstrated such cold, unwelcoming behavior. My fear is she may be the wife of one of the owners. I enjoy the store for many reasons but the poor customer service demonstrated by this woman, Cashier 0020, is reason enough to cease going. Bruce's management: if she is someone's wife, I feel sorry for you. If not, perhaps it's time to school the older gal in appropriate customer service. The younger generation working there has it down pat. Written 5/7/2025

Right away we were greeted by a sweet and bubbly employee and told what deals they had happening and she explained a little bit about the place. There's a check out desk near the back of the building and a painter actively working who was also very friendly. They didn't seem at all perturbed by little ones running around, they welcomed a family with little children and weren't nervous about them breaking anything (there's much to look at and potentially break!) Prices were higher but they're all local artists so I am absolutely not complaining. I got a book for my godchild that was signed by the local author as well as a cute travel puzzle for her birthday - I know she'll love it. I would love to check out their classes and wish I was more local to check out their live music on Saturdays too, such a warm and friendly place!
