From the beginning, Lisa was so amazing. She responded promptly to my inquiries via email and was able to schedule a session based off of my work schedule. She followed up with me before the session, making sure to answer any and all of my questions and also providing me with some ideas. During my session, she allowed me to bring my close friend so I would feel more comfortable. They did my hair and makeup amazing and it was really nice getting to talk with Lisa and getting to know each other before starting the session. During the session, she made me feel like a model. Luckily Cassie has a welcoming spirit and knows no stranger! I immediately felt comfort with her, she brings such a peaceful and happy aurora with her. I trusted her guidance her knowledge in poses and boy did it pay off in the end! I loved my picture and was in shock it was me. After having a baby, I was lacking self-confidence, which, after the session I gained seeing myself through her lenses. Fast forward to this month. I've been looking forward to this session. I splurge and treated myself to the whole experience. I added hair and makeup and got a full session. It was all completely worth it. Like I told Cassie before, I was doing this shoot as a surprise for my significant other, but also for myself. Us moms get caught up in taking care of everyone else and don't always feel the best. Cassie's work is obviously phenomenal, but also a reminder of how beautiful you are. She captures you in such great lighting and angles, I catch myself telling her I can't believe that is me. I researched different photographers and Andrea caught my eye for 2 reasons: her beautiful, timeless and elegant photos and her dialogue around doing a boudoir photo shoot. She starts with introspective questions about what you want to portray in your photos. She nurtures a healthy body image along the way and makes you feel your best from the inside out. That is truly her magic. The day itself was so special where I got to step out of my normal routine and into the routine of a super model. Andrea and her team had every detail worked out, so I could just relax and go with it. I visited Andrea again to review the photos to choose my favorites. There were too many and I ended up making the book bigger to solve that "problem." The end product is two books (boudoir + fine art) full of beautiful, professional photos. I gifted the book the morning of our wedding day and my now husband was absolutely floored. They now live on his nightstand and we both look at the often. Thank you, Andrea!
