I remember past sessions in the picture people and jcpenny studios, and highly regarded photographers my siblings have used for their weddings - but I'll be honest, none of those times was as comfortable and relaxed and fun as when Chantel Hunt shot portraits for our family. I think that is the key to a successful photo shoot - for everybody in the pictures to have fun and be relaxed. Chantel did not rush us or have us even mindful of the time - We had no clue of the time lol. Many shots were taken - many poses and variations of who was in the shot. We shot at 2 different locations: in the open field where the mustard flowers were blooming and in the almond orchard. Beautiful. She follows her contract and was very respectful of our preferences in terms of posting photos on social media. Her maternity photo studio at home was very nice and she helped attend to the background and helped with arranging clothes as needed. We borrowed a couple outfits from her client closet. During our water birth, she was on time and respectful of the birth environment and did not disturb me. She took a LOT of candid photos in the hundreds and gave them all to us. I liked her capturing every raw moment, because they are moments you'll never get back and it was much appreciated. Looking back, it's precious to have these memories and appreciated Serena accommodating our requests and being so kind and patient with us when it comes to the gallery and downloading.
