I had an AMAZING experience with Luxe Imagery Boudoir. From start to finish I felt uplifted, powerful SENSUAL. We had such a friendly rapport from the jump. I have dark skin and she booked a makeup artist who made me look and feel glamourous. in her new studio, the sun was our BEST FRIEND. The natural light was amazing. I've been wanting to do a boudoir shoot for quite some time now... but I was letting the unknown of it all keep me from actually stepping out and doing it. Well, I finally decided to put all those reservations aside and have a boudoir shoot with Liz at Luxe Imagery. Leading up to the shoot, Liz was more than supportive, and helped to calm my nerves. She truly cared about what was important to me and I how I felt about myself and recognized my reservations but offered ongoing, continued support. When the day of the shoot arrived, makeup and hair was first. Liz had an amazing makeup and hair artist, she listened to what I wanted and made me look absolutely stunning, she really brought out my best features. And while I was relaxing during this little hair and makeup pamper session, a glass of champagne was on hand to help ease those a little more . Next was time for the boudoir shoot, I went over the outfit options I brought with Liz and we started off nice and easy with a piece I felt most comfortable in, slowly transitioning through the shoot to the other pieces. Throughout the shoot, Liz offered continued guidance and support and had awesome tips on how to relax and just enjoy the moment (hint, it has a lot to do with breathing ) . She knew just what poses to do to really enhance my natural beauty. When it came time to see the pictures, I was in awe at what I saw on the screen! Liz really captured me in a way I had never seen myself, that beautiful woman on the screen was me! All in all I had an amazing experience at Luxe and would 100% do it again, there isn't one piece of it I regret. I went in to my session with zero expectations, but I came in full of excitement and an open mind. The reality of the session blew me away, I didn't want to stop! I have worked with Liz a couple of times now and I hope I get to continue to work with her. I have done more than a handle of personal photo shoots with other photographers in the past, but there is just something about working with Liz that I can't get enough of. She had this way of making the shoot seemingly effortless all while I was doing things out of my comfort zone.
