We of course had looked at her amazing photos on her website but meeting with her sealed the deal. Kristy makes you feel so comfortable, like you're meeting with a friend. She allowed us to make changes to the standard packages she offers so everything was perfectly tailored to us. An engagement session was included in our package and it was a great way to get to know Kristy and how she works. I would absolutely suggest this before the wedding shoot. This was also a great way to get to know Kristy as a person. By the end of that shoot my husband and I knew we had not only picked the perfect photographer but we had made a new friend as well. One of the best parts about the whole experience with Kristy is how quickly she gets a "sneak peek" up. You can tell how much she loves what she does because it's up by the next day! The wedding day was great. Kristy was 9 months pregnant on our wedding day so she was kind enough to get us a 3rd photographer (not originally included in the package) in case anything were to happen. (She of course let us know about this as soon as she could) Everyone was on time and professional. It was really important to my husband and I that we get great photos with out being swept away from our guests for hours. Kristy took us aside for maybe 20 min. post ceremony and maybe another 10 min. later once the light was better. We could not be happier with the shots that she and her team we able to achieve! And our sneak peek was up Sunday before we left on our honeymoon! Neither my now-husband nor I feel very comfortable with photos, and I was prepared for that part of the wedding experience to be stressful & uncomfortable. But Kurtis and Annie were very easy to work with--friendly, low-key, approachable, while also professional. They clearly knew what they were doing and helped us along (since unlike them, we'd never done this before!). They understood that we had reservations about being in front of the camera for too long, and checked in about whether we were okay. They were also great about instructions--directing us what to do but not posing us too much. Annie was great at getting our little niece to look at the camera during the family shots. They gave us our space when we needed it while still capturing tons of beautiful moments. When we got the photos back, I was surprised and impressed with how many shots they took that I had no memory of! We ended up with more than 1,500 photos on a flash drive. They are lovely. I am so grateful to have professional photos of my husband looking especially amazing, and of my family & friends, and of all the little meaningful moments that happened that evening. But even outside of the quality of the photographs, I truly appreciated how comfortable the process was. Luckily Cassie has a welcoming spirit and knows no stranger! I immediately felt comfort with her, she brings such a peaceful and happy aurora with her. I trusted her guidance her knowledge in poses and boy did it pay off in the end! I loved my picture and was in shock it was me. After having a baby, I was lacking self-confidence, which, after the session I gained seeing myself through her lenses. Fast forward to this month. I've been looking forward to this session. I splurge and treated myself to the whole experience. I added hair and makeup and got a full session. It was all completely worth it. Like I told Cassie before, I was doing this shoot as a surprise for my significant other, but also for myself. Us moms get caught up in taking care of everyone else and don't always feel the best. The father and son team were easy going and nice to work with. Our budget was tight, as we were investing heavily in wedding photography, so we were happy to find them pretty late in the planning process, and appreciated their flexibility. We requested a documentary style video of the wedding with minimal editing, to keep the costs down. Their audio services during the wedding with wireless mics, amplified music and sound mixing were perfect and exactly what we needed. The final wedding video product was beautiful and they did a great job with nice editing and segmentation that captured the feeling and emotions of the day. Their turnaround was quick, and they gave us a beautiful memory that we hoped for, and created affordable duplicate copies for us to share with our family as well.

We chose Greg to DJ our wedding in Auburn, CA. It was easy to work with him and he is very…read moreenthusiastic. There was a mix-up with e-mails at one point regarding where we would meet for a meeting. It wasn't a big deal, but he had confirmed the time and meeting place over e-mail, but forgot he had done so. We both ended up in two different places, my fiance and I in the place we had agreed upon in e-mail and Greg at another location. Thankfully we could still meet with him that day, but we had to drive to him. The day before the wedding, I called Greg to see if we could book the video, so he and his son are definitely very flexible. Though, somehow he already had it in his notes that we wanted a video, which we had never confirmed. He also asked questions about the ceremony and reception, though we had already had the conversation at a previous meeting and in e-mails. There were just enough small hiccups that made me wonder if he was fully prepared. In the end, Greg did a great job with the ceremony and reception. Other than at the very start of the ceremony, the mics worked very well and everyone could hear what was being said. As the bridal party was lining up to be announced into the reception, there was some confusion for Greg regarding the line-up, even though we outlined who would be walking together. I am not sure why this happened, but my husband was able to help sort things out. The reception ran very smoothly and he played the songs we wanted for the most part. I specifically told him not to play slow songs, but he started the dancing with two slow songs. This was quickly fixed once I told him to not play anymore. We also asked him to play music in the order of generations (50s, 60s, 70s, etc.). This didn't really happen, but he played songs we liked, so it was fine in the end. I just worried the older folks didn't feel a part of the dancing as much, though many still joined in. We ordered the video option. It is awesome to know we have a video of our day and we can always watch it again and again. It turned out a little differently than we anticipated in terms of length (it's over an hour), so we may shorten it ourselves in some way if possible. The use of the drone was a great addition. I would say if you want someone to document your day, this is a great option and is very affordable compared to most videographers. But it isn't going to be creatively cut and there are times when the video is a little shaky. Overall, Greg and his son did a pretty good job. There was some hiccups along the way, but really nothing major. Both Greg and his son were pleasant and friendly. Greg is also very reasonably priced.
