I have a 2 yr old medically fragile daughter (premie) who I have never been able to get good pictures of. She is very shy and very assertive and admittedly hard to work with. Most of our previous attempts at picture taking, besides her newborn photographs, ended in tears for all of us. Kristin was amazing with my girl. She was so patient and understanding and never made me feel pressured when my little one wouldn't cooperate. She simply let her explore her environment on her own terms and captured those memories at just the right moments. I would highly reccomend using her for all your photography needs. Most especially if your kiddo has any time of special needs. read more

We came together to celebrate our mother''s 80th birthday. My mom's only request for her birthday was to have a picture with her four children, which hasn't happened in a very long time. Kristen did a beautiful job of capturing our special family celebration. She was also incredibly flexible and came earlier than planned because our party was outside and the weather was not ideal. We will definitely use her again for our special family portraits. read more

I'm in love with my daughter's Senior portraits. Kristin was fantastic. She incorporated the ideas we had along with her own. She recommended the shoot location which was perfect for the type of photos we had in mind. Kristen was very friendly, flexible and she's obviously a people-person. She made my somewhat-reserved daughter feel very comfortable and she was able to capture my daughter's natural smile - not an easy task when it comes to teenagers. We received sneak peak photos which set the stage for what was to come ... an amazing photo gallery of options. So many pics to choose from, offering different settings, moods and overall appearance. Kristin, thank you for an amazing experience!! The entire session was epic and the results were better than I could have ever expected. I'm just thrilled with my daughter's photos. read more

I came on yelp to find a photographer for my daughters wedding and reception. I was able to book out the date. I called and emailed her and we seemed to be a match. She did my daughters bridal photos and being there. I can say that we both noticed the photo she then came to the reception and did those photos. She got all the photos I wanted and then some. She was reasonably priced and I'm happy with the sneak peaks that I have seen so far. I will use her again and recommend her to all my friends. read more

My fiancé and I had the absolute best experience with Kristin for our maternity photo shoot!! She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful and for me at 8 months pregnant I didn't know it was possible. It has been a struggle for me to feel confident lately so this shoot was a big step for me but I'm so incredibly glad and happy that I went with it and chose Kristin! these photos I will treasure for the rest of my life. She knew exactly where to place us for the best possible lighting and was so warm and kind towards us and made me feel so good about myself. Very professional and we are so excited to see the rest of the photos. This girl has a lot of talent! read more

Kristin is AMAZING! she photographed our wedding and was so pleasant from start to finish. She had great ideas for shots and was welcoming of a friend of mine that's just starting out to tag along with his own equipment. She sent us a sneak sneak peak before our actual sneak peak was due, she's so awesome. read more

Kristin did an amazing job with our family shoot. She listened to our plan and provided her own ideas to make the shoot great -- e.g. where/when to take photos. She's clearly experienced w kids too-- we had a bunch and they were all paying attention and following her instructions. Oh, and the photos turned out great too. Highly recommend!!! read more

My wedding was in the beginning of March, and I couldn't be happier that my husband and I chose Kristin to be our photographer! She offered a complimentary engagement session with her package, and I'm so happy that she did. After the session, we knew we did a good job choosing our photographer. The engagement session was a great idea, because it got us to feel comfortable with her and learn her unique style and personality, which we loved. I wish all photographers offered a free engagement session like she did-- I'm so happy we got to have one-on-one time with her before the wedding and I'll recommend doing an engagement session before the wedding to everyone I know getting married from now on! Throughout both the engagement session and the wedding, she got a ton of incredible shots, and also asked us if there were any more that we were hoping she would get. I'm happy she asked, because there were some shots that I really wanted, and this ensured that we got them all! Kristin is outgoing, easy to talk to, down to earth, extremely professional, and hilarious! The way that she went about doing our family portraits for the wedding was something that I've never seen. She was so organized-- she made my whole family feel so comfortable, she got shots of EVERY combination of people, and she did it FAST. She even asked afterwards if there were any other groupings that we wanted, but she's so good, we didn't even need to add any more. Throughout the whole wedding, she made sure after every new pose that my dress was fixed, my hair looked good, and my veil was straight. She even asked me if I needed more lip gloss! I never had to worry about if my train was bunched up or if my veil was stuck to my hair in some weird way, which was just one more thing I didn't have to worry about. She was so creative with the way that she did our photos-- she's not afraid to step through a little mud, get on the ground, or stand up on a wobbly bench to get that perfect shot! Kristin made sure that even though all of the photos were taken within 300 feet of each other, that they all had unique backgrounds and angles that made them look like we went to so many different places for our pictures. We had a unique wedding-- it was very small and on a trail. She was so flexible, and when I told her about our backup location if there was bad weather, she was totally fine with last minute location and time changes (thankfully we didn't need the backup plan, but she was on top of it the whole time). She was totally down for the very specific order of events, and I'm so lucky she took my stress away about having to worry if our photographer would be upset if we had to change the time of the wedding. Her turn-around time was great, she is a great communicator, and the way she gave us our photos was super user friendly. We got them on both a mailed USB drive, and through an online link where we could download them, so that everyone who wanted to see our wedding photos, could! Every penny we spent on her was WELL worth it. She doesn't charge by the photo which was great, so however many photos she took, we got. The photos Kristin captured were all absolutely stunning, and I'm so so happy that we will get to look at and cherish hundreds of so perfectly captured moments for the rest of our lives. Thank you Kristin Smith! read more
