What…read morewe had was decent, but we really wanted to elevate the professionalism & presence of our business. Chalkbox worked closely with us to come up with the perfect logo. They also developed a style guide with our typography and color themes, & we couldn't be happier. Chalkbox is professional, easy to work with, responsive, and their work is top-notch. I won't hesitate to refer to them.

Logos and branding (especially really early on in a business) are so personal to the people who started the business and I really felt like the suggestions captured my essence! I get so many compliments on our branding and I cannot recommend Chalkbox enough! I sing there praises all the time! Some specifics on my pleasure with the process are: 1. The intake covered all of the specifics I needed and offered Chalkbox a scope to work with 2. The quoted price was reasonable and along the lines of what I expected to pay for the services 3. Engagement documents were sent quickly and were easy to read, understand, and sign 4. I was given a general timeline and the overall time of the project exceeded my expectations 5. I felt known and seen through the process and felt like all options presented were representative of me and my business from my own perspective but with the importance of design in mind 6. All of the discussions from intake to completion were taken into account to provide the final options - including fonts and colors 7. The final product was delivered in the promised timeframe and is so easy to use along with a guidelines pdf to provide when I need to have my logo used. Whether big or small, Chalkbox Creative will make you feel like their most important client. I am excited to have them with me as m business continues to grow! Thank you so much to the Chalkbox team for your amazing work!

Great customer service. Helpful and honest advice. Friendly folks who were perfectly willing to…read moretalk options or make recommendations. For what I got, very reasonable pricing. A little over a week ago, my cat decided to water test my laptop. Long story short, a glass of water spilled into (!) my laptop. The laptop sat immersed in this pool of water for nearly 20 hours. Everything was complete toast. Although most of my files are in the cloud, especially the most important ones, I decided there might be the occasional file or folder that I might not notice tomorrow or even a year from now. I decided it would be best to retrieve the contents of the drive on the laptop for peace of mind. I left the laptop with them to do an assessment first. That assessment was ~$80. After their assessment, they indicated that the contents of the drive were retrievable and gave me an estimate of $400 to retrieve the contents of the drive (the $80 would apply to that figure). I decided it was worth the cost, if for nothing more than that elusive peace of mind. I also needed a drive to put the contents on (or provide my own). Since I didn't have one, and didn't want to bother with purchasing a 3rd party drive, they charged me $140 for a Toshiba Portable Storage device. So, for about $600 (w/ tax) I got everything off the lost drive. Was it worth it? Without a doubt. Would I go back? Hell yeah.

Martin's response to my review is further evidence of the behavior I previously noted. He is…read moreobfuscating and attempting to be misleading. My comments had nothing to do with not being able to answer every call (they did answer mine) or not being able to accept my service request. My point was, and continues to be, that whoever answered my call was intentionally unhelpful. Martin knows exactly who Rain City is, and knew who I was looking for. When they first split off the retail business, they were going to keep the Progressive Tech name. Then, due to some issues between them, they had to change to Rain City. Martin apparently still harbors a grudge, hence he refuses to refer any retail business to them. An honest answer would have been, "Yes, the people who used to handle retail repairs here did start a new business on Lake City Way, you're looking for Rain City Tech." An honest response to my review would have been "Sorry we played dumb and pretended not to know what you were asking, we should have just given you Rain City's new name."

My company ordered a pop-up booth from Signs of Seattle and we are so happy with it!…read more There was a lot of back and forth during the design process, and looking back I'm so glad for that. Their designers wanted to make sure the graphics were as clear and appealing as possible, and our pop-up booth turned out beautifully. We couldn't be more satisfied with it- their staff took really great care to make sure of it. We've received many compliments on our pop-up booth, which we use at Home Shows - and its professional, clean look definitely makes us stand out. It was extremely easy to set up, too- I assembled and disassembled it completely on my own and it took about 20 minutes each time. And I'm no builder, I can assure you. We worked with Devin through the entire process and she was more than accommodating and helpful and made it all so easy. I highly recommend using Signs of Seattle!

This place is where to go to get great signs for WHATEVER your needs may be -- seriously, check out…read moretheir website! I recently got a sign made for my classroom, and they emailed faithfully with me back and forth for about a month to ensure that I got EXACTLY what I needed, the right measurements, the price was right, etc. They send you a very clear and precise color attachment in the email of what your sign will look like, so there are no questions. They're obviously very artistic -- I asked for a picture of Mount Rainier behind the words of my sign; they played with ice on the mountain, different colors of blue, how large, what fonts to use, etc. They're so helpful. I would fully recommend them to anyone, and the prices are great. I will definitely continue coming here for all my "sign-age" needs.
