Dr Lindgren treated my father for a few years but I would not recommend him. He is impersonal and abrupt, even asking my sister if she was a doctor when she asked him a question. He continued to prescribe chemo even when my father became weaker and weaker. I asked the oncology nurse in the hospital to truthfully tell me if the chemo would save his life and she said no - he will be dead in 6 months and he was. I had to ask the neurologist to speak to my family about ending the chemo as it wasn't helping. Quality of life would have been so much better, especially for someone in their 80's, but that is not in Dr Lindgren's vocab. He clearly did not like dealing with family members either. The office staff was kind - one staff member even wrote a letter to us after dad died to say how much she liked dad and how he was one of their favorite patients. Of course we understand that our dad would eventually die - it is Dr Lindgren's discussions and interactions with our family that we found so rude and obnoxious. read more
