However, given the huge range of shoes in the shop, you should be able to find something that takes your fancy and you can realistically dance the night away in! The quality of the shoes is spoken of in the prices - these babies might be pretty, but they ain't cheap! Given the fashionable and seasonable nature of the shoes that Wittner flogs - this season is all about the wedge, while a few back it was all over the peep toe - the prices can be a bit on the dear side. But if you find the perfect pair, then you must have them!

Anyway, whatever, I can get new ones, and this is probably the cheapest Hype Store in Sydney to do just that. It's a permanent clearance outlet, there's a giant range of mens & womens shoes on constant sale, anywhere from $20 on the Last Pair table up to around a hunjy for more premium kicks. It's not crappy loose ends, either, there's some top wheels here from Nike, New Balance, Cons, Asics and heaps more, I'm not a boat shoe guy but I've got my eye on some sweet little leather sandals on the front table...

Then I discovered Ecco. Don't get me wrong, these shoes are definitely on the 'sturdier' side of strappy, but these Danes know their design, and their comfort. So while you'll pay a premium, you'll also find a good shoe or boot that you can wear to death without killing your feet (or your bad knee).

But it's in the realm of high heels that Zu really comes into its own. Unluckily for me, I possess the skinniest feet in the universe. Happily for me, Zu caters for such abnormally anorexic feet - bad luck to you wider-soled sisters. I'm pretty happy with this turn of events, as is my wallet: Zu shoes rarely cost as much as they might elsewhere. But my favourite thing about Zu is the range within its stock. Bang on trend block colour satin heels are available, as are Hollywood's favourite nude pumps. But in addition to these overly fashionable shoes, the old faves still have a place - black stilettos and silver strappy sandals are readily available here too.
