She's extremely dedicated to her craft & being up to date on current best practices. She's also currently pursuing a DNP (doctorate of nursing practice), which shows how she strives to be a top tier nurse practitioner. In addition to her private practice, she still works as a hospitalist (which she's done for over 20 years at many of the local hospitals) and just started an equine therapy program to add complimentary therapies to her repertoire of holistic health care strategies & services! I was referred to her by a friend of a friend & called on a wing & a prayer. Lisa personally returned my call as a prospective new patient that very same day, outside of normal business hours (highly unexpected! I was expecting to wait several days for a return call, from an admin., to simply book an open slot for a new patient appointment.) I was extremely surprised & pleasantly delighted that Lisa actually took time during this initial call to talk about my needs as a new patient and what my hopes and expectations were for care. It established a sense of partnership between patient & provider & opened up a path to building trust immediately. This is such a refreshing change from many physicians in the medical model (particularly many, "old-school" male MDs) who exude a sense of superiority & a perception of power imbalance (with a patriarchal flare). I want to be listened to, respected & treated with honor and dignity in my medical care. Lisa was warm & inviting in our initial call & visit. She created a sense of relaxation & comfort. I felt like I'd known her for years, rather than moments. Lisa is always prompt & thorough in every interaction we've had-appts., telehealth, etc. Finally, the cream that rose to the top of going, "above and beyond" expectations in a clinical patient-provider partnership... I am personally starting the journey towards a mid-life career change to become a Psychiatric APRN/DNP. I start nursing school in Jan. My husband and I can't get in to see Dr. Bryant anymore...appointments are weeks/months out. So I left their ProHealth practice so when I need to see MY doctor I can. My husband is holding on in the hopes that he will see Dr Bryant again. Beginning of August, he had a physical. They drew the bloodwork, but unlike Quest Diagnostics, we can't see the results. They called him in to discuss results of a chest x-ray (he had a partial lobectomey for Lung Cancer 2 years ago) and bloodwork. We thought the worst. I went with him for support. A doctor he'd never seen went over tests and nothing was wrong, save a high sodium level. Chest X-ray clear. A1C back down to near normal. They scared us to death so they could bill us for an office visit to go over normal test results. Big rip-off and they put us through 12 hours of hell waiting for a doctor to tell us his results were fine. It is maddening. I'll keep trying to get my husband to quit the machine and get a real doctor who knows him and sees him every time.

First off, Dr. Crociata is great... super nice guy, direct, listens the way all patients which their doctor would. All in all, one of the better doctors I've seen during my time on this planet. His wife assists and is also a very warm person. Unfortunately, their rude and unprofessional front office staff was why we found another doctor... 15 miles further away. My guess is they are trying to find stern business-minded folks to run their office. Unfortunately, the people they hire for this role are just rude and careless. Four years ago everyone in the office apologized at every visit for how rude their office person was. Fast forward to recent months and we've had to deal with billing mistakes and callous personalities. If you can tolerate mediocre and rude people running the office, Dr. Crociata is a doctor you will enjoy going to. However, after four years of rude treatment, multiple office personnel, and an unapologetic billing issue, we had to go elsewhere.

There are two doctors (internal medicine) and one nurse practitioner at the moment along with support staff, all part of the widespread ProHealth operation in CT. We've been in for a number of ailments, from colds to flu shots more serious problems, and we've been treated professionally and compassionately on each occasion. Dr. Nguyen is a very good listener, and his diagnoses -- which have seemed spot-on, begin with what's the least possible required to fix the problem, an approach we endorse (Why use an elephant rifle to kill a mouse? You only create more problems.). The staff has been helpful on most occasions, and the nurse assistants seem a friendly, capable group. As mentioned, we like this office. They do good service.

Not at all a service. It is very difficult to speak to a human being receptionist. Text is the preferred choice to weed out any questions too difficult or time consuming. Text auto response is their answer to customer care. Communication; Bad to worse to absurd. There were occasions my prescriptions were left unfilled. Recent changes of lack of staffing, considerable downsizing to a fraction of shared office and exam rooms (2) with sound machines so loud to protect patient privacy, patient's wait time over by 1 hour or more and my last communication breakdown. I would not recommend Synergy Healthcare Llc., Brandy Stepney APRN or their staff to anyone at all! BTW The pictures posted are two locations ago.

I would tech give 3.5, but that's not an option. Anyways when my son had his first seizure he was still getting diagnosed, but what rubbed me the wrong way is Markowski completely dismissed it as not being a seizure thinking my son was just holding his breath as that's what kids do sometimes till they pass out. I knew that wasn't the case that morning because my son had never done that before & i was with him that morning he passed out, stopped breathing & fell to the ground. Scariest day of my life!!!!! Thankfully my son has been diagnosed now. Markowski gave us a referral to a neurologist & he's been well ever since.
