They both held one hand during the procedure. My mother was extremely afraid. So nervous that she cried in their restroom but as soon as she met these girls, she felt at peace. The doctor, oh my, he was incredible. He took the time to explain everything to us, spoke to Mom's dentist and made the procedure a breeze for her. She wanted to hug him before she left. I was incredibly impressed that the doctor himself called us that same night to see how she was doing. I highly, highly recommend him and his beautiful and professional staff. Previous to the appt., I sent them my x-rays from August, but of course, they needed to take more. He suggested I get it done before the end of the year, but he had no availability to extract the tooth. The x-rays and consult was $190. He recommended Dr. Moe, an oral surgeon to extract the tooth. They scheduled an appt. for me today and Dr. Moe's office called me yesterday. They said they will need to take x-rays, as the ones they received from Dr. Makram's office weren't good enough (seeing a theme here) and they might need to do a "360-panoramic?" x-ray? Dr. Moe's office said they will need to charge me another $210 for a consultation and x-rays and I will have to come back for the extraction. I really question the integrity and ethics going on here of both offices. Every x-ray isn't good enough. In reading the other reviews, wow! consistent theme.

She's always been pricey but her work was top notch & I felt she was worth it. In recent years she started crafting crowns in-house and the results have been devastating for me. She's not insurance friendly so I saved for years to have her "fix my smile". She was working with a lab at that time (circa 2010) and the crowns they fabricated for my 4 front teeth were beautiful, naturally she guaranteed her work in perpetuity. Several years later (7-8) one of the 4 teeth fell out so I called her office immediately. It turned out she was on vacation that week so I had to pay "emergency/after hour rates" even though it was during normal business hours! That that was just the beginning of my problems. Around a year later I got hit in the face & broke one of my beautiful front teeth... that's when she told me she was surprised they had lasted as long as they did! What happened to her expectation that they would last a lifetime? By this time she was fabricating the teeth in-house and the results were far less than desirable. She was having difficulty getting the tooth to fit and look right but she seemed ok with having to remake the tooth, or so I thought! After many office visits and an overwhelming amount of hours sitting her chair while she "fit me in" she let it slip that she had done a dozen teeth in the amount of time she had spent trying to get that one tooth right for me! Can you imagine how I felt? Eventually I gave up on any hope of having the smile that I saved for years to achieve, and left her office with a discolored tooth with a platypus effect and I am now saving to have all of my teeth redone by another practitioner! That was two years ago and it's taken me this long to post this severely unfavorable review, it brings me no joy but I just can't shake the feeling that it's the right thing to do. Be wary and be very careful, even the best of dentists can grow greedy to the point of forsaking your smile and you can't grow new teeth!

Long story short, I found this practice on Yelp. They had fabulous reviews. I called and got an appointment within two days (it was not an emergency). Dr. Christopher Stanosheck thoroughly evaluated my tooth and crown. Luckily, he was able to re-cemented it back in place! It was good I went in, because I had bacteria and debris that had worked its way under the crown and it was irritating my gum, etc. He was able to clean that out and probably saved me from getting an infection and having a much bigger problem. Dr. Stanosheck was very kind as well as knowledgeable, and his office staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I would recommend this practice to anyone without reservation.
