My first conversation with them was impressive. Unfortunately Baker Law did not do what they said…read morethey would. There was continuous change in attorneys, I was charged for the review of my case each time. There was little to no communication. I never knew what was happening with my case.failure to assert proper claims and asserted incorrect claims, they did not protect my interest in the case. They continually invoiced me for who knows what.I have made several request for for Baker to communicate with the opposing side, they did not . My case probably would have been settled already. Now I need to get a new attorney so they can clean up this mess of a case.

That was a red flag for me but my husband thought we should consider them. Then my first phone call with Robert regarding some questions also ended with "give me a review on google". I thought to myself a competent lawyer doesn't desperately need reviews from brand new clients. Despite that huge red flags we moved forward and along the way they didnt return calls for days, it appeared as if they dont write notes or keep track of important data, we had to repeat ourselves countless times and be charged every time we have to repeat ourselves. Mediation was an absolute disaster so much the opposing counsel noted what an incompetent team we had. Robert was late, unprepared, didn't know the facts for our case although we manage to get plenty charges for them reviewing our case. It did not appear so! Mediation had to be rescheduled. WORST OF ALL.. THEY NEGLECT THEIR WORK! THEY CHARGE FOR WORK THEY DO NOT DO!! IF WE WOULD NOT HAVE HIRED BETTER ATTORNEYS WE WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN ABOUT DOCUMENTS THEY FAILED TO REAPOND TOO AND MISSED DEADLINES!! BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR IT!

I went for more than 2 years of banging my head trying to get the other party to even talk at the table. After hiring Graham, we were at the negotiating table in less than 3 months. While I had hoped to never need these services, I would recommend Graham to anyone who may be in a similar dispute with an uncooperative, uncommunicative party. The proof is in the results. My claim is 100% settled and it wouldn't be without Graham's attention.

From our first conversations, he approached me with a paternalistic, combative tone -- less interested in helping me meet my goals than in enforcing a rigid "process" on his terms. He repeatedly implied I didn't understand what I was asking for, openly criticized me for discussing the agreement with my fiancée, and claimed that no competent attorney would agree to our timeline. That turned out to be completely untrue. Both my fiancée's attorney and the attorney I ultimately hired were not only comfortable with the timeline, but also took a far more collaborative and respectful approach -- encouraging open dialogue about our shared goals. David ultimately quit -- but not before sending a series of passive-aggressive emails and repeatedly undermining my judgment. If you're looking for a lawyer who listens, collaborates, and treats you like an adult, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

This was on a Friday so I did not expect to hear from anyone until at least Monday. Jerome wrote me that Saturday telling me to call him the following Monday to talk about the issues we were having. Unlike most the offices, some of which didn't even respond, he was willing to listen to what was going on before charging an exorbitant fee. Sometimes you just want to know you even have a case, let alone the fact we were upset with our seller because of expenses we now had to pay---we don't have$500 to be told there's nothing even to stand on. I called Jerome that Monday and after discussing the minuscule amount we're asking for in contractual fairness from our seller, he was honest that we had a case but it wasn't worth us utilizing his full services. Honest. AND THEN, He kindly offered to read over our mediation letter to our seller and give minimal professional advice, because he's like, a real human being and cares. He followed through with his promise when we sent him the draft, even after 2 months of gathering all our info. He called back less than 2 days later to discuss and give us some pointers. I want to be clear that his advice was straight and to the point--but nothing elaborate. I don't want there to be a misunderstanding that Jerome works for free, haha. I just want to illustrate to everyone that he's one of the good ones. He's honest and caring, and fair. He saw 2 first-time homeowner's getting the short end and he believes in right and wrong. There is no doubt if our seller continues to be a douche, and we unfortunately have to go to court, the we will use Geraghty Law Office. We will be forever grateful for Jerome's kindness regardless of the outcome.

Although he helped point out that what the HOA was claiming to be true was in fact false, he went back on his word that he'd help contact the HOA on my behalf. I hired another lawyer who had absolutely no problems representing me and contacting the HOA on my behalf to get the ball moving again.
