It's tempting to consign with them to save yourself the trouble of listing on eBay yourself, but you pay a high price for that convenience. Don't buy the hype about how great this experience will be for you. Once they've got your goods, communication becomes sporadic to nonexistent. Photography and descriptions of items are seriously subpar, and there's no transparency about the status of your listings or when you'll be paid. You have to hound them to get any information and you wind up making very little money in the end. The best part of the whole transaction is being able to ship your mistakes off into the ether for free, telling yourself that your check will be in the mail someday soon. Next time around I'm either donating or consigning locally or else going back to doing my own eBay listings. read more

I strongly recommend going elsewhere. The payout was shockingly low and overall it left me feeling completely taken advantage of. It felt less like a professional consignment experience and more like a joke. Read the reviews, I wish I did! When I realized my mistake, I was told I would have to pay an outrageous fee to have my items returned. Among the pieces were a hardly worn Hermès sweater, Valentino shoes, and many new or barely used items in excellent condition. I truly would have made more putting everything on my driveway for $1 each. As a seller you get so far beyond screwed, its just appalling. Example: I sent a pair of designer shoes with box, worn briefly one time indoors for like 10minutes. They literally didn't fit my feet. She listed them at $199 pre-owned. The shoes did not fit my feet! I emailed saying hell no - never got a response. Store price - no sales on this brand - is $1000. Other similar items, in lesser condition, listed and selling at over $500. I'd taken a bunch of photos on the shoes before sending them - whoever purchased them (or maybe her own operation, would not be surprised) had them back on ebay for $700!!! They were 1000% my shoes. Like the ones that had been on my feet ... That she sold for $199, and I made like $107 or something insulting from. She now pays every month, rather than when your lot sold or quarterly, whatever she used to do - so your payout never gets to where you can possibly make a better percentage. Plus she purposely lists items in a staggered manner to further avoid having to give a better seller percentage. Why though? The bargain basement prices she claims to sell things for on your invoice will never ever net you $5000. Period. Charges random fees in addition to the percentage she keeps, also I believe she charges shipping on both the buyer ($4.95) and seller's ($12?) end. So basically borderline fraud. Given she is charging a huge fee in addition to the split (i believe its $12/item), maybe better photography/marketing? And actually research the prices, write product descriptions, make the titles relevant....? I looked at the prices she claimed to have my items posted for, and decided to click one of the links, item was listed higher than what she had claimed on my invoice. Went down the list, and every single item was listed incorrectly. So you are chancing it that she is even paying you anywhere near what an item (minus commission) sold for. And the latest insult! I have never written a Yelp review but I feel compelled to now after my most recent experience with Linda's Stuff. I consigned with them before Covid and had a decent experience-- I felt they were fair and honest. This year, I sent them several boxes of clothes, bags, and shoes-- many of them designer-- and the service has been abhorrent. For some reason, they couldn't authenticate a Gucci purse I sent them and charged me a $25 fee to send back. (I had the original tags showing it's an original Gucci.) And-- I don't know if their pricing policies have changed or not but this time around I've barely gotten any money for my goods. For example, I sent them a Xirena skirt I purchased in June 2022 for $350 and they sold it for $14.99. The most pathetic consignment service that I've ever experienced. They list your items for pennies then charge you $25 to return your items back. They sold my items - 4 Zara items that are brand new or like new (total retailed for more than $150) plus a designer item that costs me more than $150. I got a total of $0.40 for my portion. You read it right - 40 cents for $300 retail value. I would rather give these for donation instead of this scam business. They give $50 as a credit to only shop on their website (not on Ebay.) I got two dresses from them. One came in with damages and stains. I asked them to return this dress back and give me back the credit so I can get another item instead. Something that I can actually use instead of this damaged dress. They refused to take it back and told me that I already got the "free money" from them. Guess it is not that free when I paid the damaged dress with my extremely undervalued items. Also, they NEVER reached out to you when your items are sold. They would let it go silent for months until you asked them if anything sold, then they woke up and told you that your items were sold...Extremely unprofessional. I don't even know why anyone would support this unethical business. Save your money for a better business place. You don't need to spend or do business with these business. In April, during my Covid purge, I sent a high end dress, high end shoes, and many other items to Linda's Stuff online consignment. A few of the items they deemed unworthy, I never asked them to send me anything back, nor did they ask. In July I got a box in the mail from Linda, it couldn't have been more than $10 shipping because Linda uses UPS Surepost on a commercial account and it was a small package and I don't live far from PA. I figured out on my own (I never got an email) that 2 of my items sold for approx $40 each. (The items were no longer on Linda's website and they were "sold" on ebay) So I emailed Linda to inquire about my profit. I was promptly told that yes, my items were sold, however, since Linda paid so much in shipping to send my rejected items back, they claimed I still owed THEM $. What??!! So basically they stole my items and made a profit. You have no control on how much your item will be priced, and they automatically deduct $10 from the sale amount of each item before figuring commission, because you are responsible to pay shipping to the customer. (And who knows if a buyer gets 5 items in one box?!) Complete scam, no idea how it is worthwhile if this is how they treat people. You will never get a bill either. Hopefully you get a check if they decide they actually owe you money. read more

Don't consign with Linda's Stuff. After months had gone by, and many of my items I consigned with them sold there was no contact from them informing me what sold. Only that I was checking Ebay did I know, and then called them. I was told the bookeeper in charge of my account was away from her desk, and I'd get a call back, I never did. I finally received an email with a list of my items that sold, and the amount I'd be receiving a check for, however weeks have gone by & no check. For several times now, no notice of any kind for items sold as a consignor and poor accounting/bookkeeping. If you co-sign any items with Linda's Stuff, please be vigilant--on guard--regarding their policies and practices. I sent beautiful clothes to Linda's Stuff thinking that I could trust them. This is where I made my mistake. Take the time to make your own list of items and condition that you send them. Be meticulous in reviewing the inventory list that they send you comparing it with your original list. Do this ASAP! Monitor sales as they occur. I did not follow my own advice here. As a result items that I sent were never listed. Also my items were sold at "giveaway" prices. A brand new Sherpa coat that cost $1,000 was sold for $90.00 and a new leather jacket that also cost $1,000 was sold for $100.00. Looking back it takes so much energy to monitor what and how Linda's Stuff operates. I give them a minus one star! I did contact Linda's Stuff and was offered $400.00 for two Ivan Grunhahl coats and two Ivan Grundahl skirts that were not on the inventory list. Again, beware here! Be vigilant and on guard. I am a consignor, not a buyer, and I have sent Linda's Stuff at least 5-6 boxes of designer merchandise to re-sell over the last 5 years. On each and every occasion, she has lost or misplaced a part of my shipment, listing a portion, and claiming not to have ever received the rest. The last time I sent her a shipment was 8 months ago. She listed most of the items, and when I checked my inventory it looked like the items sold quickly. The following quarter I never received a check. I emailed customer service (the same person who sent me the shipping label and listed my stuff in the first place) and never heard back. Sure, she gives you 60-70% of listing price, but considering the high rate of loss, or misplacement, you are likely to lose at least 30-40% of listings. read more

I found out about this consignment website from 6ABC news. The process was easy to set up. I sent them some jewelery items and a handbag. I can say that they did sell all of my things, however when they say that you get 62% of the price that the items are sold for, that is not entirely true. They automatically take $10 off the top of each item for shipping. Now, I know for a fact that it does not cost $10 to ship a bracelet or necklace. The other complaint that I have is that they give you prices that they would list your items for and then change them or have them up for auction so they can move them faster, so you are not always getting the best price you could for them. I would give it 5 stars if they didn't charge $20 for boxes to be returned to you. That adds up to a lot of money considering they will never take 100% of your items. If you have loyal customers you should give them move incentives to continue consigning with you, like for every 5 boxes you send us a year 2 of the returned boxes will be free. There are too many other online consignment stores that charge a lot less for returns, some charge nothing. Money is money, and at the end of the day when that fee gets deducted, it takes off a lot from your final check. read more
