The Alexandre Birman shoes had never been worn. $28?!?!?!
    Megan S.

As a seller you get so far beyond screwed, its just appalling. Example: I sent a pair of designer shoes with box, worn briefly one time indoors for like 10minutes. They literally didn't fit my feet. She listed them at $199 pre-owned. The shoes did not fit my feet! I emailed saying hell no - never got a response. Store price - no sales on this brand - is $1000. Other similar items, in lesser condition, listed and selling at over $500. I'd taken a bunch of photos on the shoes before sending them - whoever purchased them (or maybe her own operation, would not be surprised) had them back on ebay for $700!!! They were 1000% my shoes. Like the ones that had been on my feet ... That she sold for $199, and I made like $107 or something insulting from. She now pays every month, rather than when your lot sold or quarterly, whatever she used to do - so your payout never gets to where you can possibly make a better percentage. Plus she purposely lists items in a staggered manner to further avoid having to give a better seller percentage. Why though? The bargain basement prices she claims to sell things for on your invoice will never ever net you $5000. Period. Charges random fees in addition to the percentage she keeps, also I believe she charges shipping on both the buyer ($4.95) and seller's ($12?) end. So basically borderline fraud. Given she is charging a huge fee in addition to the split (i believe its $12/item), maybe better photography/marketing? And actually research the prices, write product descriptions, make the titles relevant....? I looked at the prices she claimed to have my items posted for, and decided to click one of the links, item was listed higher than what she had claimed on my invoice. Went down the list, and every single item was listed incorrectly. So you are chancing it that she is even paying you anywhere near what an item (minus commission) sold for. And the latest insult! Coupons! Shes blasting out 25% off coupons - it's just so aggravating.

From the moment I walked in I personally was a little overwhelmed. The name Nordstrom leads me to expect a certain vibe, this did not hit that. The shoe area is a good size, but tiny aisles. It was pretty organized. There is some areas to sit, but not enough. There were people sitting on the floor. There were many racks throughout. There is lots of departments like kids, mens, womens, shoes, bags, suitcases and much more. There is a lot to sift through. The pricing was in my opinion a little high. I can find items one sale, cheaper especially with a coupon. I am sure I made a face at some of the pricing like, "Um really. You want that much for that?" The staff were ok. I had one who tried to help, but he was new so he was unsure on the answer. I ended up not staying too long. I was just there for shoes, and walked out empty handed.

Almost bought a fifth pair of sneakers, but I changed my mind when I got to the register. When I explained to the pregnant cashier that I no longer wanted them, I found her (the cashier) to be very rude, condescending and had an attitude that there was no need for, honestly. She acted as if she was doing me and my friends a favor or as if I was asking her for a bone marrow transplant. Also when I got home, I noticed that one of the pairs had what appeared to be razor blades slices in them. Unacceptable. Not sure I will shop here again until they train their employees better. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Ubiq for him, Sephora for me. They have a wide variety of shoes and fair pricing on the floor. He definitely does his research for the shoes he wants online at both the Ubiq website and other similar sites, so if the price is equal or better at the Ubiq store then we might as well buy it here and save $10 on the shipping from an online purchase. 9/10, we make a purchase here at the store instead of online. As for the clothes, they have cool designs but for his body type, doesnt seem to fit well. That's a little disappointing but since the selection of shoes is so stellar I can probably overlook that a little. He is especially obsessed with the nike stefan janoskis...and they have a bunch at this location as well as on their online store.
