The owner does her own hunting and picking for the most beautiful pieces of furniture, big and small. Her talent with restoring through the paint brush is exquistite. The beautiful embellished pieces are one of a kind, from clothing to canvas organizers, inwhich the owner creates herself. We all (x4 adults and x2 children) ended up spending a hour in this store (WTH?). We left with clothing items, a couple of small toys for the kids and a few other items. We might have left with more items, but we were sizing up what we had already accumulated to place in our already over-packed suitcases. The customer service was wonderful as well! They hold events ( fashion show when we were there ), they are keeping vacancy low, with some interesting stores one would not have seen in a mall back in the day. It is not one of these desolate malls with mostly rolled down grates and piles of shelving in the dark interior. There is a pulse to the place. The bookstore is a draw as it is so large ( and sometimes has kittens on Saturdays ). The shoestore is big too. The Belk is hanging in there, they have closed some entrances and fitting rooms, but it is not all stained carpets and broken shelving like one would see at Sears at the end.

We encountered the rudest customer service person you can imagine. She asked us if we had called the number on our card for help. We told her we had but they told us we needed to take care of our bill in a store. She informed us we could not pay our bill with a credit card, which is totally fine, except her attitude and tone of voice were amazing for a customer service employee. She asked how much we wanted to pay and we asked if she could check our balance. She explained that she had no way to see anything about our account including balance, hoe we were supposed to be getting our bill, our billing address or anything to do with our account. Really? She was very rude and should not be in that role. The message about her not having the ability to know anything about my account was not her fault, her attitude was the problem. I will not shop at that store again.
