If I could give no stars I would. This woman is a scam artist. She altered my dress wrong and would not let me leave until I paid her full price $20. She could not fix the dress because she had already made the straps too short and taken in the bust too much. Is Linda the little old Mexican lady who works there? She was so rude I didn't even bother getting her name. First, she sat on her ass in the back when we walked in to ask questions. Second, when we asked her if she can do something she complained "no no time". We tell her "well whenever you can, we will wait" this time she just "no." Flat out no. I have never met such a rude, unprofessional, lazy lady in my life. Horrible , Horrible, business service we came across in our entire life. My wife went there and for alteration of $80 dress, she asked $50 for alteration, and when my wife told she is not ready to give that much, Linda asked $5 for time spent talking with her, and took her dress and said she will only return once my wife give her $5. And we always use credit card and that day my wife just had 3$ change she asked her to manage someone how, my wife who was bit sick was left crying and finding bank / atm for extra change, and that day my wife was just carrying credit card so no bank or store would give change to her. Also my wife have to pick up kids from school in next 30 minutes, but that lady Linda is least bothered of all these ..all she care was extra $2, no humanity at all, finally my wife took 2$ from saloon next to her shop and they gave that extra $2 without any question after seeing my wife crying, my wife took her dress by giving $5 back to heartless lady. But seriously never came across such person in my entire life. This is cheating on name of business. 1st thing she should tell is that you have to pay money of just talking to her, irrespective of you alter here or not. and if harsh rules of charging money for just talking , then why not accepting credit card. seriously my BP is getting high after thinking of her and even writing about her. worst worst worst business person ever we came across in my entire life read more

Linda altered my wedding gown. She took it in and installed a bustle not once but twice. She was very patient with me, i didn't like the way the bustle came out the first time so she tried it a different way (it was a weird dress to start with and i knew it would be a difficult task) She charges reasonable prices and does the job in a timely fashion. Heard of Linda from a friend at the gym after I was in need of a great tailor who could work on my maid of honor dress. I was told she was great and had reasonable prices. Only one out of the two statements is true. First she is completely rude. I called when the place was closed to leave a message about a question I had. She answered the phone and I asked if it was Linda. She then LIES and says "sorry, wrong number" and hangs up. I then call an hour later rechecking the yelp phone number (exactly the same number that I called earlier) and she answers and I ask again, is this Linda? She then says "yes, what do you want?" And I told her I called earlier and that she said wrong number.. and she goes "yeah just said that cause I was busy, what do you need" like what????? I'm sorry but that is the most unprofessional thing I've ever heard. Unfortunately, I was willing to let this slide because I was told of her exception skills... this is where crap hits the fan. So I go in and all I needed was to get the dress to hit the floor (had to shorten it a bit) and to take it in at the neck. Instead of using pins she just gets a piece of chalk and starts drawing all over the dress. I should have run out the door right then and there but I didn't. I asked "hey are you getting the length right? Can you make sure it's right at the floor? The bride does NOT want to see our toes. I rather have it longer than shorter". With attitude she goes "yes yes! I know how to hem dresses, it will be long as the floor!" That was my only request. I come back a week later... and it is 2 inches off the ground!!! What the hell!? I was crying in the store staring at the mirror wondering what the hell happened. She then blamed me for bringing different shoes! I say are you kidding? These shoes have been in my trunk for the past week! They are literally the exact same shoes I wore when you drew all over me and the shoes I bought specifically for the wedding. I paid her and left crying. By the way, she isn't that reasonable. She up-charged me after that because the dress had three layers so for her it was more work. Then, after she saw her terrible mistake on the length she lowered the price back down to what she initially quoted me over the phone. Just terrible. Never going back to her. Had to basically wear flats for the wedding cause I couldn't get a new dress 1 month before the wedding. Just terrible. The worst experience I've ever had. read more

Linda does a good job on tailoring but is almost always not in her shop at the hours she has posted. Gets frustrating every time i take the time to drive over to her shop. She also doesn't have her answering machine on so it becomes doubly frustrating. She makes no apologies for her lack of service. Linda gave me the worst experience I have ever had in my life. From the first meeting to picking up my dress, she was so rude. At pick up, I had questioned some things she did on the dress that I wasn't pleased with. She had such a bad attitude and response that I didn't think was worth my time. So I ignored it and went back into the room to change. While I'm in the room, I heard her close the front door. When I came out, she had locked the front door and turned the sign from "open" to "close" when she didn't close for another 45 minutes. I was still polite, and offered to pay her 20 instead of 40 dollars for the job (since the customer service was horrible and I wasn't happy with the job) and she started yelling at me about how I am stealing from her and that I wasn't gonna leave without paying her $40. Then within a few minutes, a large man walks in. So now I'm feeling extremely threatened. The door is locked, the sign is closed and this man is now in the room. I tried to walk passed her (didn't even touch or push her) and she grabbed my arm and my dress and told me she's not letting me leave. I had to yell at the top of my lungs to get her hands off of me. I finally gave her the $40 just to get out of there. The absolute worst service I have ever had. I was enraged when I left. Never go to her, please. read more

Absolutely amazing!!!!! Very nice and will definitely be back and my family. So I had a costume made on etsy and when I received the costume it was huge so I went to this amazing seamstress! My husband needed suit alteration done over the weekend in time for a family event on Monday (for both the coat and pants). We arrived at her location at around 2:30 in the afternoon and were hopeful that she could understand our situation and be able to finish my husband's suit in time. On Sunday's she is closed, and on Saturdays she is open only until 5pm - but for us, she promised to stay until my husband's suit was done. DO NOT COME HERE! She's the worst. I came in with a really expensive dress as I am a bridesmaid for a wedding. I bought shoes to wear foe the fitting so she would know how much to cut off and it be perfect! I come back a week later mind you after the hours that is posted. Well the dress was too short, and I was upset and she said oh well just buy new shoes, like I have extra money to spend after she is charging me $90 for what she is doing. Instead of apologizing for messing it up she suggested to buy new shoes. Then a part of it was done wrong so he had to adjust it and had the audacity to tell me to come in the next day. When I clearly told her the reason I brought the shoes in when I did was because I wasn't going to have time so I said no... I don't have time to go buy shoes or come for you tomorrow. She finished it but still charged me full price. So stupid.. she ruined a dress that was over $200 and messed it up and still charged me as much as the dress was worth.. not to mention it was only shortening by a little bit. I absolutely love Linda and her work. I had her take in a dress and a pair of pants for me a couple months ago and she did a great job. Because she did a great job, I took her my fully beaded and lace wedding dress. It was at least four sizes bigger than I and it needed a lot of work. When I picked it up I could not have been happier with it. I am so happy and amazed by her work, she is a miracle worker. My dress was perfect fitting, it fit like it was made for me. My mother was also very impressed because she saw how big the dress was on me when I bought it. Linda is truly talented and such a sweet lady. I dropped off a backpack with rip right on the zipper line after my dog made a toy out of it. I thought it was not repairable, but somehow she worked her magic to stitch a patch made of the same material! to completely close the rip.
