I have always wanted to try her services but could never fit it into my lunch schedule. On this day the stars were aligned - - I had some time to spare at lunch, the store wasn't too busy and distracting, Heather didn't have anyone waiting in line, and most importantly my back was aching and in desperate need of attention. I signed in, she showed me how to properly get onto the massage chair. It's a quality and sturdy piece of equipment - which was nice. Doesn't rock too much and I felt very secure. After she made sure I was ergonomically correct and comfortable she started the massage. She also asked if there were any areas I would like her to focus on, I pointed out specific parts of my back that were in pain. She made sure to hit them all up and incorporated them into her overall standard regiment. It was a relaxing and pleasant experience to say the least. Heather was very friendly, professional, and personable. She's easy to talk to, competent, and also very sharp and intelligent. She massaged up and down the spine, over the shoulders, the neck, the arms, and finished off with the hands and fingers. Even though we got caught up in good conversation she kept a consistent pace and remained focused to ensure it was a quality massage. Next thing I knew we were finished and she was about ready to close shop - that was the only downer - all good things must come to an end. I think next time I'll definitely add in an extra session because 15 minutes of Heather's therapy just wasn't enough. It was a potent experience that got me re-energized and it definitely helped make this a relaxing lunch, I felt much better. Excellent and thorough massage, very friendly and personable, and the best 15 minutes I've spent since I could remember. Heather rocks!

I have taken both of my kids to Kerry Rickelman for treatment of athletic related muscle issues…read more My daughter first saw him with some hip issues and after the 2 sessions she was cleared and has no pain. She was given a list of stretches and exercises she needed to do regularly and as long as she has done those she has not had issues. I took my son in to see him this past week. My son was dealing with some very tight thigh muscles which were causing pain and issues in other areas as well keeping him out of sports. He has grown 4 inches in the past 12 months and the muscles were not keeping up. After an initial assessment, Kerry told us what was going on and what he was going to do in order to help solve the problems and alleviate the pain. After an hour and a half of therapy my son was sore, but the next day was feeling better. He ran for the first time in weeks without the pain. If he does the stretches/exercises he is supposed to do he will be back to football and cross-country full time this week. I spoke to some other physical therapists and they just wanted to put him through some exercises (watch him do it), but not actually get in there and work the muscles. They also wanted to schedule him for multiple visits, not only prolonging his ability to get back on the field but costing me $$ for unnecessary visits. Kerry had him on a table and actually worked those muscles and stretched them out in one visit. He said we might need to come back once more if it persists but again, if my son does the stretches and exercises he was given then he would not need to see him again for this same issue. Kerry knows his stuff and I will continue to use him whenever I need to. He is honest about what is going on with the muscles in the body, what to do to fix them and how to maintain so as to avoid further injury.

I have been working with Fitness Beyond Training in Salado, TX for 9 months now. I knew that if I…read moredidn't do something, I would need knee replacements as I had injured both knees in the past. When I started the program, my doctor classified me as morbidly obese. I am no longer in that category. The team at Fitness Beyond Training takes a holistic approach to wellness by not only concentrating on the exercise but also nutrition. There is no "cookie cutter" approach to Fitness Beyond Training. Each program is tailored to the needs of the individual. For my nutritional needs, Jacy Mullins has been a wonderful source of ideas, suggestions, and direction. There is no prepackaged food, no points to count or exotic meal requirements. Nutrition is based on healthy eating that is once again tailored to the individual. My fitness coach is Angelie Juaneza. Angelie is an AMAZING individual with which to work. She has a Master Degree in Exercise Physiology and she knows how to design a program that works with the strengths and weaknesses of each individual. Her sessions are upbeat, encouraging and effective. I am fully aware that I must do the work, but I do not believe that I could have accomplished the success I've had thus far with any other coach. Over the past 9 months, I have lost 78 lbs. and more than 12" off my waist. I rarely have any pain in my knees anymore and, thanks to Angelie, I know I have avoided knee surgery. I am walking an average of 20 to 25 miles per week in addition to my sessions with Angelie. I have recently incorporated jogging into my walks - once again with no pain in my knees. I used to dread stairs or steps but not anymore. All of the improvements in my physical health are something I could not have imagined 9 months ago. Angelie Juaneza, and the team at Fitness Beyond Training, deserves my highest recommendation.

I finally had enough and started calling around to see if there was same day availability for an hour and a half. Invisions was a home run. I was a little nervous at first because it was a spa, and not specifically a massage therapy. My body is a mess and I require a therapist that actually knows what they are doing. I have had too many massages in the past where I have left hurting more and wanting to cry from zero relief from the pain. Thankfully I had nothing to worry about with this place. I was given a wonderful therapist by the name of Chase. He was professional and polite, briefly explained what he was going to do after I explain my issue, and as soon as he started on my feet i was in "love". Now I prefer deep tissue, it is the only way to get the tension out, and I must say I was pleased. Chase used elbows, nuckles, and thumbs like the knots in my back had no hope for tomorrow, it was painfully amazing. If I had any critique on the experience, it was the awkward silence, and I don't mean no talking silence. I am so glad I decided to bring my head phones with me this time, because there was absolutely no music in the room. I think next time I am just going to bring a speaker with me so it's not so weird.

My original appointment was at 3:20, and I received a notification around noon on appointment day that I had been rescheduled for 3:45. I thought it was weird that they didn't call or text to confirm the new time works for me, but it did work yesterday so I didn't worry too much about it. I did wonder if this is a frequent thing because a lot of times I am squeezing appointments in between meetings and can't be flexible with appointment times. Anyhoo, I arrived at 3:45 and stood at the front for five minutes before a massage therapist came out to check out her guest. She tried to help me but wasn't sure what paperwork was needed, but did let me know my lash stylist was finishing another appointment and had me wait in the waiting area. At 4:05, 20 minutes after my rescheduled appointment, I left without ever seeing the lash stylist. When I got home, I saw that I received an email at 3:25pm that said "your appointment is coming up" and I was now scheduled for the next day. I didn't receive a notification of any rescheduling this time, and to reschedule for a second time the day of an appointment without even checking that the new time works is ridiculous. Not to mention rescheduling 20 minutes before the appointment is supposed to start. If I cancelled with 20 minutes notice, I'd be charged for the appointment. I'm not sure why anyone would think it's acceptable to do the same to a customer.
