Went to urgent care signed in at 945am last was real nice and said it 1hr 30 minutes wait I asked if I could stay in my car she said no that I have to wait in waiting room. Not fans of that due to Covid but okay I will wait. On the hour mark they called me but all they wanted was payment then for me to sit back down and wait for my name to be called again. At about 2hr mark they called me back got weight, blood pressure, height and put something on my figure unsure what it does maybe temperature. Got put in a a room and waited and seen doc he was quick but from first entering and signing in to exiting building it was roughly 2 1/2 hours. It was very cold aleast to me and sitting in the cold for 2 hours made it rough on me. I had to get in my car and put heater one to warm back up. These was in August. So if you need Urgent care for here remo not a speedy place. And bring a jacket.

This is a small pharmacy, so the one downside is that there is not a big selection of over-the-counter items. But they will fill your prescriptions with fast, friendly, personalized, small town service. They even have a drive thru.

These drug stores are owned by Curtis Eddy. Curt is a nice man and his support staff is…read moreexceptional. My complaint is the Pell City location of Curt's locations. When we lost my father they were there for me Curt and especially Lacy, who works the front. She holds the place together. I felt as if we were family. Curt has a manager there, Steve. This guy has a huge typical "Pharmacists culture--major attitude toward customers." No compassion..typical. I have some in the family.. People should be aware of the "hateful pharmacist--'gosh I hate working for people'--thing some have." These people kicked me because I had the nerve to show emotion when they got my prescriptions wrong every time...folks-that's every time. I had to give up getting the correct generic on one because they just never got it right.. and I'm not going to pull my meds out like a drug addict. Point is I had them and mom when dad died.. I was counting on having them with mom getting older and we're getting to that point mom is declining. Right at this moment they refuse my business.. (while showing me their backside) They show me the door in an episode that everybody in the store knew was wrong, but "it's good to be king and WIN!" Steve, the managing Pharmacists is a vile person with no people skills and will drop you over night for nothing.. It sounds crazy because I was with them for years.. I've had three Pharmacists now who either steal, lie or do a major CYA dance. The Board of Pharmacy is aware and has limited ability in this area. Be careful at all pharmacies.. I used to think local was best but I now see you can count on a Walgreens when you can't count on Curtis Eddy and his staff at Main Street Drugs.. Pharmacists are a group to watch in healthcare.. The frustration for something that should be so simple as getting an update on my prescription is not worth the trouble. I regret the day I had my doctor send my prescriptions to this location and am frothing at the mouth to switch to another pharmacy.I had to call the other CVS to get an update on my prescription.
