Horrible is an understatement. Sometimes it takes an hour or more to reach someone and the office tells you they will call you back. Unfortunately no one ever does and you have to repeat this cycle for weeks on end. There are countless other DME companies so I would avoid this one at all cost. Called to have my wife's o2 concentrator maintained as it had been almost 2 years since it had been checked. The technician was knowledgeable and professional. However my wife had ordered some supplies that he had entered into his tablet but nothing ever arrived. read more

I wish there was an option for negative stars.... I cannot believe how incompetent this company is. My doctor requested new medical equipment for me in the beginning of August 2017. It's now October 4 and I still don't have it. I've contacted this company multiple times via multiple channels (phone, email). If you get the Call Center, no one can help you and they have to pass the message along for someone to call you back. I called back yet again today (I'm not sure how many times I've called at this point) and it's another waiting game. I attempted switching medical supply companies, but found out that's a major hassle as well. Can't win! One of the last Call Center reps I spoke with said I could contact Lincare's corporate office and/or lodge a complaint with my health insurance provider (I've already told my insurance company how terrible Lincare is), but basically in so many words said 'good luck with that.' I feel like I'm stuck with this awful company and have no other decent options. read more

This company does not do anything to make the families of those needing supplies feel like they matter. They never reach out to any family members when there are insurance issues, when they need to clients medical doctor to contact them back or when there is a delay in product arrival. They constantly leave their clients hanging and waiting and the clients family has to always call them to see why its been over 2 weeks and still no wheelchair. This company really needs to do some revamping of its ethics and how it treats its customers because this is a medical supply company which means sick people are in need of these supplies they are responsible for providing. Maybe consider it's employees if they don't want to be motivated enough to help its sick clients then maybe those employees should not be on their payroll. Very, very disappointed in this company and this is the third family member they have provided horrific customer service to. read more

This company is a nightmare to deal with. We were set up with Lincare back in 2016 through my husbands sleep specialist. All of a sudden, my husband just stopped receiving supplies. I called over and over again to find out why our deliveries had suddenly just stopped. Nobody could seem to figure out a reason behind it. I spoke to a representative on a centralized "ordering" line, and I was told they would be placing an order, expect arrival in 7-10 days. It has been nearly five months now, still no supplies have been delivered. I have called several more times, even demanding to speak with a manager. I was transferred from the centralized line, to the local office in Cherry Valley, MA. I was immediately put on hold, without having any opportunity to explain the reason for my call. 15 minutes passed by, still waiting on hold, and then they suddenly hung up one me. No return phone call from anyone. My husband could DIE without these medical supplies and this company could CARE LESS! I have now switched to a different company at this point. I am no longer dealing with the incompetent people that work for Lincare. I would give them negative 10 stars if I could. Absolutely atrocious customer service. I hope they go out of business. read more

Horrible customer service. Doctor ordered equipment on a Friday, one piece of equipment they didn't have (no-pap). I called the following Tuesday to check status, was told due to the order being put in late Friday and the holiday that past Monday it was delayed. 11 days pass, no phone call. Called again on a Monday told them to pick up all the equipment since the most important machine never was delivered. They were to pick up that Wednesday. Talking to the driver he says that the machine we needed they don't keep in stock has to be ordered. How does the customer service rep not relay this information. Worst customer service ever!!! I'm glad to see from the other reviews, that I'm not alone in seeing they are a bunch of crooks. I was prescribed this disaster of a company upon release from the hospital with bronchitis. When the tech delivered it, I asked would I need a doctor's agreement to return the oxygen and he told me no. That's where the nightmare began, but it hardly ended in there. After two months, I called them and told them my doctor said I no longer needed oxygen and they said they would come pick my supplies up. However, they didn't. I began calling each Monday to request over and over again that they pick up my supplies. I was told several different stories: 1) I was a priority and would hear from a tech ASAP (never happened); 2) I needed a fax from my doctor clearing me of the need for oxygen (told this twice and doctor faxed paperwork twice to them); 3) many more issues, but they told me EACH time, I would not be charged another dime once I requested the pickup. Unfortunately, that was hardly the case. I ended up calling a supervisor who promised the supplies would be picked up the next day, and of course, they weren't. Since then, I can't get him to return my call. I called Corporate and they had someone FINALLY come get it. I thought my nightmare was over. Hardly, then, the threatening calls to pay my bill started. Daily. I finally had to turn this over to BBB and I'm still getting threatening calls. This company is a nightmare. read more

This company provides much needed medical supplies and is the only contractor for Medicare for durable medical equipment in the Worcester, MA area which is probably why the owner/manager of the business doesn't care about staffing or customer service - all of which are horrendous. Every web site where they are reviewed, people wish they could give less than 1 star. I personally wish they'd lose their Medicare contract rights. read more

Worst company to deal with. Lost papers, claim they never got any prescription from the doctor...wait another 3 months..oops we need another updated prescription....no calls returned ever. Dont bother trying to reach the manager, she does not call back either. Also main headquarters in Florida does not care even though they have an ICare department. The rating should be lower than one but I cannot leave it blank. I have been waiting for over one year for a Portable Oxygen concentrator for my 92 year old mother. The only good part of this company is the fellow Jim who delivers my mom bottles of oxygen. Try and find another company if you are looking. I had to contact the Attorney generals office in Massachusetts to assist me. I finally after waiting 14 months we received the machine. I know it was only because of the calls from the Attorney Generals Office. You may have to do the same. read more

Absolutely ATROCIOUS customer service!!! TRY to get them to pick up, or service their equipment once they deliver more than enough apparatus to provide oxygen to an entire hospital. I had to call Medicare and do a three-way call with them, but even then, they promised to pick-up, and never showed up!!! Dawn at Lincare is a rude, (fill in the blank here). Hey, Dawn? tell your boss that Medicare told me to call them back if you didn't pick up, because they are not paying any more bills from you for my equipment... =p phhht. And yelp people? If you have an issue with Lincare, try calling Medicare - Medicare is more than happy to get involved if you have an issue like mine with this crappy company! We were forced to transfer to Lincare from Denmarks Home Medical. Denmarks was absolutely horrible as a supply vendor for our son. I thought I would never see worse than Denmarks until they were bought by Lincare. We were transferred to Lincare after the buyout about 5 months ago and have NOT had one thing go right. Our son is ventilator dependent and is paralyzed. His supplies are needed for him to live - to breathe - to have a life. Yet month after month the supplies are late, do not come at all, or are the wrong item. This is after I faxed his medical supply list to them with item#'s and quantities. I have had to spend a lot of my own money to purchase things on my own for him when they should be providing these things under our insurance. They make appointments to come to do their vent checks and then they don't show up - or they show up late. My son needs batteries in order for his ventilator to work so he can go out - even to the doctor - and we need new batteries because the ones we have are over 10 years old - to this day we still do not have new batteries - after requesting them 2 months ago. I could go on and on about this company but I'll finish by just saying - do not use them - use another company. I have heard that New England Home Therapies are very good - but who knows. read more
