I began using this company almost 4 months ago and it has been a horrible experience. I have medicare and a supplement policy and so far there are 3 payments made by my supplement policy that has not been credited to my account and the payments were made 6 weeks ago. When I call, I have a hard time understanding the people and have never been given an answer as to what they have done with my missing payments. I just called to pay my last bill and was told the balance due was one amount. Paid it. Decided to call back to verify that my balance was zero and was told I owed more money. When I asked for one final amount I was told I couldn't get that as their system wasn't updated. I asked how often that happened and was told once a month. FOR BILLING! I just want this relationship to be over and am on hold yet again waiting for an answer. Also, I was promised a refund in December for a double-billed item. Lincare Sent a bill of 3$ to a creditor to track down payment (trying to tank my credit over 3$) but never thought to email, call or message me about it even though they'll call you twice a week asking to reorder supplies they won't tell you about any outstanding payments. And then when I called to complain they said it was my issue and if I want to know if I owe anything I need to check the website every once in awhile. At one point when I did get someone that wasn't just repeating information that made no sense, my supplies took 5 months to arrive to me. I would give zero stars if I could. I was prescribed a c-pap machine and got my equipment from United Medical (a branch of Lincare). Then the bills started arriving. My insurance wasn't covering any of it so I returned all of the equipment and closed the account. In February. In March, another bill for, they claimed, deductible amounts. I called. 'The last possible bill will be in May. By then all of the deductibles would have been applied' I was told. Then in April a Bill. In May a bill, and now in July a bill. All for 'deductibles'. I have had satisfactory interactions with Lincare branch located in Watertown, NJ. Recently I needed to replace my CPAP machine. After acquiring the necessary paperwork, I was approved for a replacement machine. Working with the staff (Alana, Chris and their supervisor Lynn) at this branch has been satisfactory. After navigating the labyrinth, I spoke with Alana. She and her colleague demonstrated care with and interest in fulfilling my request. A follow-up conversation with Lynn was very satisfactory. With little effort, Lynn pulled up my account, verified my information and informed me my replacement machine was awaiting shipment. I spoke nicely(and kept up ongoing contact) to the above mentioned Lincare employees and they expressed interest in my issue and are working to satisfy my request for a replacement machine. read more

I have been using Linecare for 4 years. They send me stuff on time. THEN when I changed insurance, they did not resubmit my insurance claim. They kept asking me to pay out of pocket. I have asked multiple times for help and they say they will, then don't. This company does not actually provide customer service. Negative stars... My mother has COPD and lung cancer. We have been STUCK with Lincare. You must call weekly for your order. Prompted through an automated menu. If you are able to speak to a human which is nearly impossible the Customer service reps are always "RUDE bastards" as my mother says. She has received the wrong equipment, broken equipment and unfilled tanks. When we call for assistance with any issues they deflect onto the patient. For example... my mother called for her order later in the day, the rep told my mother her order would not be out for 2 weeks because it was too late in the day. She should had called earlier in the day, in which my mother replied she was in the hospital earlier in the day. Again my mother has COPD and Lung Cancer she cannot breath... The delivery team are ALWAYS very nice and compassionate. I am sure it is not easy to work for a company that is probably under staffed. Their phone line is terrible and I was told to use their web portal. Surprise, NOT WORKING. You must sign a tablet for delivery but you get no receipt paper or email of the transaction. I never got a call, and they never came to pick up the equipment. My phone messages have been ignored. A phone representative said they would send my request to a supervisor to "elevate" my request. Still no response. When you call, you can't reach their local office. Instead, you get their answering service 1000 miles away, which is worthless. You can't message or email them. I have never been shy in my criticism of Lincare; delivery is catch-as-catch-can, and telephone customer service is abysmal. Today, this company gets my Most Improved award because of Pam, the representative with whom I spoke. Ring time was brief, as was hold time, which occasionally has lasted as long as 30 minutes. Pam was terrific. She was prompt and knowledgeable and very informative. She set me up with an appointment and I have a fair amount of hope that it might actually happen. They where very compliant untilafter the 5 year contracts with Medicare medicare rules are they will pay 80% for the first 5 years of oxygen then only maintenance if you change company s after that you have to pay 100% of the cost. I cannot understand how the other reviews are so low. I was treated professionally. The staff was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They told me over the phone, what info to provide so they could bill Medicare part B directly. With that in hand,I was greeted by nice people who showed me how to operate the nebulizer, and they billed Medicare successfully. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I am thoroughly impressed with the Grassmere Ave, West Hartford operation staff. I will continue to get all my DME supplies through this office. I give 5 stars for the "all-stars". I went for my sleep study August 16th. I called Lincare on August 30,2018 because they never called me and I wanted to follow up on when i was getting my CPAP. They told me they never got forms from my doctors office and they only follow up with the doctor once a week. I got off the phone and called my doctor. they infact have send them the paperwork 3 times. They sent the paperwork again. I called Lindcare back 2 hours later. Yes they do have the paperwork they will submit to insurance for approval. 2 weeks later still no call. I log into my insurance and find it was approved 2 DAYS after i spoke with someone at Lincare. I call back and no one answers. Here we are 6 weeks from the start and STILL NO CALLS FROM ANYONE AT LINCARE!!!!! I call again. Spoke with Phil who didn't care I was over 6 weeks in to this and no one called. Transfered me to Chris she scheduled me for today (10/9/18 @3:00 pm). A CPAP Machine is requried for a person to sleep. I stop breathing when I sleep. I could actually die from NOT having this machine. It has taken ME calling them for over 6 weeks to get what I need so I DON'T DIE WHILE SLEEPING!!! This is NOT how you should be doing business.
