LinCare beyond a shadoe of a doubt has the worse patient service I have ever encountered. Approximately a month ago I called to order a new madk because I could not get the type if madk that they had sent to me to seal. They told me I would have to be fitted for a new mask (even though I had used the mask I was ordering previously. They directed me to the Link Care office, who told me that I needed to speak to compliance before a a I could ordered BiPap Supplies. This started a series of transfers (six in all entailing an hour and 10 minutes. I was transferred to compliance three times and transferred back to supplies without ever speaking to anyone in compliance. I finally reached a live person who took my order, no problem, right? Over two weeks later and i still don't have my mask. I call again, explaining all of the above, more than 45 more minutes on hold, then told Compliance will call me back. This is a Friday. When they had not called me back by 4:40 I called again. Sure, they will put me right through to compliance, right? Wing again. I sit on hold until 4:55,, at which time I'm told they are gone for the day. Call back Monday. I am not on golf foot 26 minutes and no one has checked back with me. I'm just on terminal hold. Incidentally, I have called several times and left messages for Compliance with no call back. Let's see hire king this call takes!
Update: After 37 minutes on hold I spoke to someone in Compliance who told me I did not need to Doran to anyone in Compliance because I had spoken to someone in compliance on Friday ( I never reached anyone on Friday ( I was left on hold until they were gone for the day and told to call back on Monday). The person I just spoke to said she has fixed my account and I can not order. I ordered the mask that I was given originally but she said they don't show me as ever having that mask and I would have to be fitted for it. I told her I'm holding it in my hand and it is the first mask I was given. I had problems getting used to it so they sent me another one but I can't get that one to seal. She finally told me she would order the mask I want. I also explained to her that the Velcro is so worn on the head gear that it won't hold but she said Medicare won't allow another one until July. If i want to pay out of pocket i can get a new one. I said even though this is obviously defective I have to pay for a new one. Sherry said that's right. So i said well I guess I will have to be non-compliant when the Velcro won't hold the mask on my face. So that is where we stand as of now. read more
