It still wasn't ready even though in stock, so my husband complained and the guy said well it's July 4th weekend as if that was an excuse. Then I went over to talk to them 4 days early August 13 because I needed my inspection done and I needed a new tire and wanted to make sure they ordered it before I came for my inspection. I even told the guy about what happened to my husband earlier and how rude the guy was before. So I wait 4 days, go to trouble to drop my car off, get my husband to drive me and I get a call that they forgot to order the tire 4 days ago. Let's say I was not happy. When I went to get my car back the older gray haired guy wouldn't even listen to my complaint. I've been taking whatever car I owned there for 15 years. Something major has changed there and they don't care to apologize ever and they are not thorough. Their whole attitude is different. I will never go back there again.

He replaced the tire and assembled everything in less than 10 minutes, making it look way too easy...! This guy was like a one-man Nascar pit crew...just amazing! Normally with car inspections, I have to drop my car off at an auto-body shop and pick it up the next day due to the "first come, first serve" policy but I didn't have that option so I booked an appointment with 17th Street Automotive for the same day. As soon as I walked into the office, I was happily greeted by Kristen and another worker. They both were extremely pleasant and personable. I was quoted a service time of about an hour and a half and was offered beverages while I wait, which was a very nice gesture. My state inspection was completed after an hour and a half, just as they quoted me. Kristen was very informative with the things they found during the inspection and with how amazing their customer service was, I would definitely return to get my car serviced with them. I was given a free car freshener once the service was complete and told them I would tell everyone I knew about the exceptional experience I had with their business. Completely unacceptable, frustrating experience…read more I paid $1,338 for front brakes and calipers, and within six months I was still having braking issues. When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.
