My embroidery order was the wrong color despite me providing a photo of what I wanted. The lady…read moreinitially lied and said she showed me the thread, but when she played the camera back, she hadn't showed me anything. She then agreed to reimburse me if I purchased 2 new hats since they didn'thave any in the store. When I sent her the receipt, she initially refused to reimburse me because the hats were more expensive than what I had initially paid. She ultimately agreed to reimburse me via text, and she also agreed to do the embroidery for free on the new hats; however, when I went in to place the new order, she told me she would not give me my money back for the 2 hats she messed up because it would have to come out of her pocket. Fortunately, our communication was via text msg and when she called security, they sided with me. The lady who does the embroidery is a liar, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with this company.

Sometimes I suspect 5 star reviews. But this place deserves their stars. I visited on a Sunday…read moreafternoon. Kudos for them being open on Sundays! It's the only yarn shop I know of that is. They also sell fabric. The fabric ranges from everyday quilting cotton to Liberty of London cotton Lawn. Their yarn variety is fabulous too. They carry Borocco and Fiber---- (sp?) and active pair perfect sock yarn as well as many other weights. I like that they did have a lot of fiber that other shops don't normally carry. They also have roving and Ashford spinning wheels (kiwi 3 and country spinner) and Regis heddle looms. I went to buy a kiwi, and ended up with a lot more! The staff was super nice and allowed me to assemble the wheel in the store. They loaned me tools and had everything else I needed. I know there were ladies doing a sew or knit in in their back room. I didn't participate but listed in. I think they were welcoming of newbies and some of them knew each other a while. If I lived here, it would probably become a hangout for me. This is definitely on my list to stop by whenever I'm in the area. And I'm 100% sure I can get my girlfriends to do a roadtrip to come visit here. I'm so excited to find such a neat shop! It hits my two favorite hobbies! Quilting/sewing and fiber!

The monogramming came back of centered and slanted and they monogrammed the name upside down. Embarrassing, I would never had brought my things here if I had an idea of how terrible they are, no apologies and pretending as if everything was fine they gave me my things facing down so I wouldn't see what they had done. Save your money and your time. They refunded me the money after I went back and forth for a while with an employee I got my money back in bills and quarters $33 not out of them acknowledging their mistake but me fighting for my child's ruined items. I spent $80 on a backpack and lunchbox to be ruined which they did not take any responsibility for. If you are not competent enough to do a job decline it. I asked for them to pay for my ruined items and all I got from their employee was "I'm sorry".
