First I couldn't get through to anyone when I called. The receptionist or person who answered sent me to quotes dept like 5 times and no one would answer. They blamed it on "high volume" of customers or whatever. But how do you not have a process to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner? I can't wait 2 weeks to get a damn quote. I'll just go somewhere else. The person in quotes dept Sheryl was rude and had terrible customer service. She made up excuses about why they couldn't get back to me in time. I filled out their form online explaining what I wanted in my policy and a little of my situation. First I got this rude email (I think she wrote it) telling me they didn't want to talk to me and couldn't write me a policy. The email was short with very little explanation why. Then when I called AGAIN for the 6th time to finally get SOMEONE to talk to me, Sheryl rudely just refused to talk or listen to me, kept repeating over and over how they couldn't write me a policy and basically told me to go away. No solutions, no help, no suggestions on how to fix my situation. Look if you can't write me a policy, fine. I get it. But don't leave a customer twisting in the wind. At least take the time to answer my questions and give me suggestions on where I CAN get help. It's basic decency and politeness. Be warned everyone! Customer service at this place has gone very downhill recently. You're better off going elsewhere!

How did he make that assessment? Only an attempt to justify the ridiculous quote. 3. The worst part and why I'm writing this review is that now I'm getting a ton of spam from farmers insurance in the mail. I did not ask them to send me these letters. They are often the same exact letter sent 3 times wasting paper and filling my mailbox. Overall, my recommendation is to shop around and don't trust what they tell you.

She also said I was emailed the update ( I was not, and I had chose paperless) she tried to make me feel like it was my fault this happened. No accountability on their end as the insurance agent. That's not how it was supposed to go, she should have offered to correct the issue and contact me when it was resolved so I could handle the policy move to another state in my own. It appears that they did not forward the requested information,. or at least did not have my back and request anything further from me, as I received a letter that we were being dropped for non-compliance to the original request regarding the difference in names. I called and emailed Prince agency various times asking what happened with this. Thank You Derek Prince Agency as I no longer have insurance on the one thing my parents left me from their legacy. It is so difficult these days to get a new policy underwritten as so many insurance companies are leaving CA or no longer underwriting new policies.
