Kaz is truly an artist and cares deeply about his work and his clients. I'm so lucky to have found Rivkah's Salon, this stylist/colorist/artist, and that I can also call him my friend. My hair has never looked better, received so many compliments, and most importantly - has never been healthier. I've learned so much from Kaz about what products and practices are good for my hair, and that has significantly maximized my good hair days between appointments. I no longer leave a haircut with regret (50/50 chance I'd hate my hair at every other salon), but always feel better than when I walked in. Also kinda weird, but I gotta say, Kaz does a BOMB shampoo. Thank you for everything. I'm so lucky, I will always recommend you to everyone who asks me where I get my hair done (which happens a lot - so you know you're doing an amazing job).

It was never clear what the cost was for each service. Prices would change from visit to visit for the exact same services. Sometimes higher sometimes lower but the overall trajectory was up. I've lived in other areas and am aware of different price markets. But this was overpriced for Westborough, MA. There were other issues as well but too long to list here. My last bill was shockingly high. I paid it. But I was embarrassed that I paid that much for color touch up, highlights and a haircut. I felt that I was being taken advantage of. I'm not confrontational. But what's the saying you can't be taken advantage of without your own consent. Never went back.

I moved to NYC a few years ago and still drive the 3.5 hours to Shrewsbury at least once a year to get my hair cut and colored by Katie. Her balayage technique makes my hair look amazing and it grows out perfectly so I can usually make it the full year before coming back for my next visit. (even hairdressers in Brooklyn when I've needed a trim have commented on how nice the color is) The vibes are impeccable and after watching her team work with other clients in such thoughtful ways I'd also trust any one of them to do my hair if Katie was ever unavailable. The person I spoke with made me feel like we would be super unwelcome and was told "sorry we have limited availability". I have never felt like such an inconvenience to a business while trying to spend money. I ended up telling her I would call somewhere else since it seemed like we were putting them out. They might very well do great work but I would have been too uncomfortable to go there with my daughter. If you're a new customer, maybe try somewhere else as their availability is apparently limited.

I sent her a photo of my unsatisfactory result and she immediately acknowledged the problem rather than trying to dodge the issue. Client satisfaction seems to matter to her, both as a salon owner and a stylist. Of course it would have been better to have my highlights done correctly the first time and it was a waste of time to have to book another appointment, but Faryn impressed me with her knowledgeable expertise and professionalism.

I decided to give Brittany at Salon Bella Mia a shot and she did such an amazing job! I went for a wash/cut/blowout and wanted to keep most of my length. She not only did all of that in a very timely fashion, but was able to volumize my fine and straight hair. At many other salons I've been to, I go home to find that my hair was not evenly cut and is lopsided. Brittany did many checks to make sure the length was just right and proportionate. She was incredibly personable, friendly, and definitely skilled. I would definitely recommend Salon Bella Mia and Brittany!
