About a year ago, we contracted Dockside Divers to care for our 480 Sedan Bridge. Our experience…read morehas been nothing short of excellent. Of course they take care of the hull cleaning, but they spend a good amount of time going over my running gear, zincs and associated hardware to ensure safe, proper operations. They keep a close eye out for anything that looks out of place. These people know boats and know when something does not look right. Should you need them for a special purpose, they are always there avaiolable to send a diver down to take care of an issue you may have. I have confidently referred Dockside Divers to some fellow boaters and encourage others to give them a chance to show their capabilities and quality of service to you. Vince Caruso - Palm Harbor, FL

The cleanliness of the bottom of a boat affects boat speed, fuel use and the life of your bottom paint-all which can be expensive. So, you want to pick a service carefully. Dockside Divers have been contracted on our boat since we brought it up from Mexico for approximately 9 months. They have been very professional and easy to work with we have talked to them on the phone and the divers in the dock. We have chatted when we were checking on the state of the zincs and if they had the exact one or if we wanted to use our own. I will be checking the bottom from the water when we go over to Mariner's Cove. I will update when I check on the cleanliness of the bottom.

I recently purchased a new cruiser from H&H Marine. My sales contact was Trevor. He was totally…read moreaccommodating - even picked me up at the airport when I traveled to see the boat - and unflinchingly answered all my questions. Never made me feel like he didn't have the time or was being burdened. Just a really great attitude and super easy to deal with. He understands the old phrase "the customer is always right" and he aims to please from a genuinely good place. While the boat is new, on delivery it had a few blemishes. Trevor has not balked at taking care of them, and I 100% believe in him and his follow through. If you meet him, he WILL sell you a new boat, even if you are not looking for one, so beware. Anyone would love to have a beer or two with this guy. I also interacted with Dan H, one of the owners. Dan is a no nonsense, a straight shooter, and gets down to business. Plus, a very interesting background - helicopter pilot, etc. - and as far as I can tell he is a legit stud half Evil Knievel and half Clint Eastwood. He is flexible and knows how to cut a reasonable deal, doesn't get hung up on the smaller things. Very big picture thinker. He also took the time to answer unrelated questions about my current boat, and he too is polite and direct with no BS.

I called and left a message for the company, but got no response after the first promise to "make it right." However that hasn't happened and no response after my last call.

They've been consistently on time and dependable with monthly service, which is huge when you're not at the marina every week. The pricing feels reasonable and transparent, and the video updates are incredibly helpful. Being able to see the condition of the boat and the work completed removes any guesswork and builds a lot of trust. The biggest benefit is not having to think about maintenance. Instead of spending time checking on the boat or dealing with service issues, I can actually enjoy being on the water knowing everything is taken care of. Overall, they're professional, reliable, and easy to work with. If you want a boat care service in San Diego that lets you enjoy your boat instead of servicing it, I'd absolutely recommend Harbor Crew Boat Care SD.
