I just went and got a haircut from Sara. She was condescending and rude from the start. I asked for a medium fade and ending up giving me a high fade. It she faded so high that I ended up having an egg shaped head. If you are an incoming TBS or OCS student she will be rude to you. Lastly, a haircut is $15 dollars. I gave her a $20 bill and she took it and started cutting the next person. Cutting me off and not giving me an opportunity to get my change. I recommend going to the other barbershops in Q-town. Love Lim's Barber Shop in Q-town!! I've been visiting this barber shop off and on for +/-18 years. I tried other barber shops in Q-town first, and never was happy with the service provided. Then I decided to try Lim's and never looked back...initially, whoever was first available, but quickly learned I preferred Lim or Sara. Then after becoming a more consistent customer, I realized Sara was my preference. It doesn't matter how long between cuts. Sara knows me, knows how I want her to cut my hair...it's nice to sit down in her chair, and not have to make any comments or instructions how you want your hair cut, and/or anything trimmed. She fixes you right up, as if she is the 1 who will be seen with you. LIM is a sweetheart. She always has a smile and nice greeting. If Sara is out of the shop for an extended period of time, vacation, etc, there is no hesitation to sit in Lim's chair. LIM does a great job as well. Highly recommend this barber shop! read more

This is probably the best barbershop in Q-Town, they shave and fade like the barbershops in L.A Ca. Lim and Sara are probably the best ones to get your haircut with, the other ladies are above average also. They take their time and are very polite. read more

Best barber shop in town. Lim and her ladies, all can give a great low, med and high bic razor fades. Anyone around a Marine base know it's hard to find a shop that can actually do low and medium fades. They are open late till 8 pm in Sunday's and open up around 6 or 630 am on Mondays. Only $10 (cash only) for a cut, includes upper back and shoulder massage after cut. Don't under estimate these petite ladies pounding on your back. read more

You will not find a better haircut anywhere in the world. If you're looking for a great haircut at a great price, then this is your place. Lim and her crew do a fantastic job. I've been coming here for 10 years and currently drive 40 mins one-way because of her quality and consistency. For a military skin to fade cut, this is the best place. They follow the clipper cut with a disposable razor and it turns out great. A Lim's haircut still looks fresh several days later, most of the other barbers in NoVa on use clippers and I need another haircut in four days. No on else has the attention to detail like Lim's shop, they get all the hair around your ears. I can't say enough good things about Lim and her crew. read more

The WORST experience I have ever had at a barber shop!! Came in with my kids, showed the lady a picture of a Mohawk for my oldest, she kept asking my son where his daddy was and he kept telling her work... I told her repeatedly not to cut the length of his hair, just shape up the sides... long story short she complained the whole time that "Sunday's are for marines and not kids because it takes too long", she shaved the back of his head and then cut 2+ inches off the top. SO UNHAPPY!!! Let's not forget how she cut his skin with the clippers, he kept telling her it hurt and she just kept going!! Would NEVER recommend. read more

By far the best barber shop in good old 'Q Town.' Polite service, the ladies take their time cutting your hair, and they finish it off with a great shoulder massage that leaves you feeling invigorated. I always make time to come here for my weekly haircuts. I suggest you do so as well. read more

I went to several shops before finding this gem. There's an ATM right outside so doesn't matter much, but bring cash. The best thing about it? They give you a massage when they're done! This place is better than the MCX, but not as good as other local places. Barbers attempt to be stylists, and what started as a low-reg semi-belligerent comb over turns into a medium high with an uneven top. Pretty sure the plethera of 1stSgts/SgtsMaj in Quantico pay them to mess up on those with glorious manes in order to bring about a universal high-reg standard. read more

Lim's is fantastic. I've been getting my hair cut by Lim for years now and she's the only one in Q-Town I trust to get it done right every time. Lims does take appointments for regulars, but it appears to be mostly walk-in business. If you ask real nice, they'll give you a quarter for the parking meters out front, or play it safe and park in the lot down the street or around either corner. There are NFCU and Marine Fed ATMs within a one block walk. Prices are very reasonable. Lim's has my highest recommendation. read more
