No other doctor understands me better and no other doctor has the respectful demeanor and high knowledge, long time experience, generations of history and expertise. I have been going to Dr. Nan for over 10 years and he has helped me with an assortment of serious ailments, such as back injury, menopause, depression, tinnitus, sinusitis, intestinal woes. He just knows what I need and I always feel better after a couple of treatments. I'm so glad I know him. I will always turn to Dr. Nan as often as I can. I believe I have found the best doctor.

Beware of this business especially if you use a Groupon. I purchased a Groupon for "New Health…read moreCenters" with Dr. Han's Acupuncture as one of the clinics one could use for a "Massage and Pain Consultation". So I went to get my "Massage and Pain Consultation", received the "Massage" and then the so-called "Pain Consultation" began. I did receive some acupuncture that same day and after that sessions I was instructed to return for future acupuncture sessions believing that and even asking the Doctor if these sessions were still under the Groupon "Pain Consultation" and was told yes they were so I continued for at least three or so more sessions. After the sessions were completed the Doctor began to tell me about what I would be needing in the future for more sessions and what the cost would be for those sessions. I mentioned that I would not be able to afford them as I'm a Disabled Vietnam Veteran on a fixed income and he was trying to get me to pay monies up front which would then amount to be a discounted price, if I payed up front a certain of amount for a year's worth of services. I again mentioned that I would not be able to afford that and therefore ended what I thought was was the "Groupon Massage and Pain Consultation. This was back in May 2012 and just recently, February 2013, I receive a bill from the Doctor's office stating that I owe $255.00 for services of three acupuncture sessions, the same sessions I was told were still under the "Groupon Massage and Pain Consultation". I would be cautious about any future "Groupon" specials with this particular Doctor as it seems he does not follow what the "Groupon" was stated for. He did provide someone to give the "Massage" but then the "Pain Consultation" was not just the one time he did the Acupuncture, it continued for at least three more sessions then he sat down with me and explained what/how acupuncture works and then proceeded to tell me about future sessions and the cost it would be for them. I refused to sign up for them and now I'm getting billed for what I thought was the continued "Pain Consultation" the "Groupon" was stated for. This is not a review for "Groupon" but for "Dr. Nan's Acupuncture Clinic"! Beware of any future specials they might be posting and if you do go make sure you get everything in writing as to what any "Pain Consultation" will involve and when the "Pain Consultation" begins and ends.

The biggest testament to the effectiveness and quality of Dr. Sean's work is that I am still a regular patient here. I refuse to go to anyone else, and gladly make the drive from Westminster to Parker in order to see him when I need work done. Since my initial review, I have also become a recipient of Dr. Sean's acupuncture treatments, which are equally as wonderful and effective as his chiropractic work. I cannot recommend anyone better than Dr. Sean at Natural Body Works for chiropractic and acupuncture work in Denver area.

I went to an acupuncturist with over 25 years' experience for several years in Miami, and I must…read moresay Dr. Hou is right up there when it comes to experience and knowledge. Thank you Christine, for the recommendation! The office is not fancy, and Dr. Hou won't try to cross-sell you on any products, like herbs, or newer holistic treatments like lymphatic drainage or ionic foot cleanses. Not that there is anything wrong with those. The point I am making is that you don't need to worry about being upsold. From the minute I walk through the door, Dr. Hou's calm energy makes me feel relaxed and in great hands. The tables are covered in heated blankets, which I love, because I am always cold. There is a blanket folded up to go underneath your knees while you lie down, to relieve pressure from your low back. Chinese spa music helps me really zen-out during my 45 minutes. I've actually fallen asleep a few times; and I never nap, because I am always going, going, going, like most of us. I always feel much more calm after my session. If you've never experienced TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), here is what you can expect: During your initial visit, you will complete a very detailed questionnaire about your body symptoms, many of which you may never pay attention to, any areas of pain, lifestyle habits and family health history. After checking your pulse, temperature and your tongue, you will be asked questions regarding your sleep, your digestion, the color of your urine and maybe some things that seem very personal, like what did your last number two look like and when was it? He will also look at your complexion and things you won't even notice but will give him a very good indication of what's going on with you. For example, are your eyes puffy? Do you have cankles? Are your Palms sweaty or dry? Dr. Hou will then explain his TCM diagnosis in layman's terms, since most of us don't know what liver qi stagnation or deficient yin are. Don't be afraid of the needles. Dr. Hou is so good, you won't even feel most of them go in. If they do hurt a little, that usually means you have some blockage in that particular meridian. After the needles are placed, you will be left to relax for about 45 minutes. He usually comes in once to check how you feel. Credit cards are accepted and pre-paid packages at discounted rates are available. Finally, it is helpful to wear loose fitting clothes, so he can access your legs up to your knees, your belly and your arms up to the elbow. Remove shoes and watches/bracelets before you get on the table.
