Accents On Health Lea Yoder DC

I have been to a few chiropractors in my life. Ok, I am clumsey so more then a few. I have had…read moreprobably 3 or 4 since I moved to Colorado in 1998. I first came into this office when a previous provider shared an office with Dr. Yoder. She was always very nice and friendly even though I was not her patient. The other provider moved to another state so I went back to the original place I had been to her to another provider. That place seems to have a revolving door because the next time I called for an appointment that provider was gone as well. Right about that time it was my brithday and a birthday card came in the mail from Dr. Yoder. Even though I hadn't been her patient ever I still got a card. I called to make an appointment and I am so glad I did. I was way way out of alignment. They did a through exam and made sure there was nothing majorly wrong that I did need to go see a physician for. I had a pretty bad fall at Red Rocks in July(remember already admitted I was clumsey) and still couldn't walk right still in October. After my pre adjustment massage I was all ready to start feeling better. I have a high pain tollerance so I had no idea I was so far out. So after a sound bit of advice about my pain threshold and some more adjusting I was out the door. I grew an inch about because I was so jammed up in both knees, ankles, and my neck and shoulders. You don't have to go once a week for the rest of your life as some people think. I have been months and years with out going. I have learned that it's something that does benefit me in many ways. I have not done any accupuncture with her yet, but I am sure that will come soon enough. If you have the coverage I suggest you go atleast once and check her out. They are open late on Tuesday's and Thursdays till 7. Conveniently located right off 25 and orchard.

For the longest time, I resisted going to a chiropractor, I wasn't sure about the science. And…read morethen, back pain happened, and that too pretty severe. My doctor (usual, non-chiropractic) basically said loose 70lbs or back pain will continue. Well, that's when I decided to try Lea Yoder...and I was sold. After just 3 sessions, I felt exponentially better. I am a regular now. She makes me feel comfortable, no uneasiness, she explains what she is doing, and what to expect. She is pretty patient through my incessant questioning. They carry a lot of little kits (for extra $) that are like home-remedies but work really well with hangovers, cold symptoms, cough etc. I'm a believer now.

No other doctor understands me better and no other doctor has the respectful demeanor and high knowledge, long time experience, generations of history and expertise. I have been going to Dr. Nan for over 10 years and he has helped me with an assortment of serious ailments, such as back injury, menopause, depression, tinnitus, sinusitis, intestinal woes. He just knows what I need and I always feel better after a couple of treatments. I'm so glad I know him. I will always turn to Dr. Nan as often as I can. I believe I have found the best doctor.

Beware of this business especially if you use a Groupon. I purchased a Groupon for "New Health…read moreCenters" with Dr. Han's Acupuncture as one of the clinics one could use for a "Massage and Pain Consultation". So I went to get my "Massage and Pain Consultation", received the "Massage" and then the so-called "Pain Consultation" began. I did receive some acupuncture that same day and after that sessions I was instructed to return for future acupuncture sessions believing that and even asking the Doctor if these sessions were still under the Groupon "Pain Consultation" and was told yes they were so I continued for at least three or so more sessions. After the sessions were completed the Doctor began to tell me about what I would be needing in the future for more sessions and what the cost would be for those sessions. I mentioned that I would not be able to afford them as I'm a Disabled Vietnam Veteran on a fixed income and he was trying to get me to pay monies up front which would then amount to be a discounted price, if I payed up front a certain of amount for a year's worth of services. I again mentioned that I would not be able to afford that and therefore ended what I thought was was the "Groupon Massage and Pain Consultation. This was back in May 2012 and just recently, February 2013, I receive a bill from the Doctor's office stating that I owe $255.00 for services of three acupuncture sessions, the same sessions I was told were still under the "Groupon Massage and Pain Consultation". I would be cautious about any future "Groupon" specials with this particular Doctor as it seems he does not follow what the "Groupon" was stated for. He did provide someone to give the "Massage" but then the "Pain Consultation" was not just the one time he did the Acupuncture, it continued for at least three more sessions then he sat down with me and explained what/how acupuncture works and then proceeded to tell me about future sessions and the cost it would be for them. I refused to sign up for them and now I'm getting billed for what I thought was the continued "Pain Consultation" the "Groupon" was stated for. This is not a review for "Groupon" but for "Dr. Nan's Acupuncture Clinic"! Beware of any future specials they might be posting and if you do go make sure you get everything in writing as to what any "Pain Consultation" will involve and when the "Pain Consultation" begins and ends.
