And as a personal trainer I can tell that Melissa has an amazing understanding of the body, so I can be sure that I'm getting just what I need. Often I come to her feeling really tense after a long day of working with clients and sitting at my computer and she knows exactly how to make me feel relaxed, calm, and actually nicely enough a bit taller (which is a big deal for a short girl like me!). I've come to her a dozen or more times and have even sent my husband and a few of my clients there. They all come back to me raving at how amazing she was and how great they feel. They now see her regularly too. The best part about all of it though is Melissa herself. She has an amazing working knowledge of the body, can do many different types of massage, and she really gets to know you and understand what you're looking for. I feel so at ease with her and she makes me feel very cared for. You can tell she loves what she does and truly believes in it, because you're never just a number with her. I never feel rushed and she always takes it one step further by giving me a little tip on my way out the door, like a stretch that I can do to alleviate some of the tension I'm feeling in my neck. I am now a massage devotee and will continue to send my clients to her.

Worst Massage Ever! I booked massages for me, my daughter, and her friend. When we go there, they…read morehad us soak our feet for 10 minutes which was part of the hour, so the massages only lasted 50 minutes. I am not sure what my "therapist" was doing, but it was not a massage. The reflexology portion was her basically rubbing lotion on my feet and calves. For the massage portion I had asked to focus on my head, neck and shoulders. She did not even massage those areas! She did not massage my arms; it was more like squeezing and pulling on my skin. Before I went in my back did not hurt but it did when I left. She dug her elbow into my back in various places, no actual massage. My daughter's friend's therapist left the room 4 times to talk to people who came in and answered the phone during the session. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because my daughter said her massage was decent.

I was thankful they could accommodate me so quickly, and both of the staff members I interacted with were friendly and professional. Joni was attentive to my comfort level, but did not talk through my massage (which I really appreciate). She is the best massage therapist I've ever experienced! She is extremely well trained in a range of different massage techniques and modalities. She can do a whole massage in a perticular style, or mix different techniques to best address whatever problems you have. She is not just talented in her technical skills, she has an increbly intuitive sensitivity to subtle physical and energetic problems in the body. She discovered old injuries and imbalances that I had forgotten to mention or hadn't even been aware of until she noticed it! I used to go to another therapist who left on maternity leave last year. She hooked me up with the others while she was gone and I miss her! I have an appointment to see her next week though (I found her again!). The offices at Massage and Natural Healing Solutions are nice. If my appointment is at the same time as other people's it can be noisy if I'm in a room up front. I can usually tune it out, but it might bother someone. Everyone's room is decorated different, which is kind of cool. (Each therapist is on their own, they just share space.) I recommend them.
