Good Evening. I saw Dr. Bukachevsky on two occasions. I wanted fat removed under my eyes that I had…read moretransferred in from my own fat, and it never went down. At the first visit, he told he would not do the surgery unless I did a peel because I would not be happy with the results. The cost was in the $12k range. A year later I went to him on Client Appreciation Day ( 11/23) and was told the same thing. $12K. I said I would do it. He said I needed to pay him $2k down right then to set up the appointment. Nothing was said about it being nonrefundable. That was on a Friday late afternoon. That night, I came to my senses, and called his office to cancel. I left a message. I called my credit card and put a stop on that charge. On that Monday, I was told the $2k was norefundable. I said I canceled within the hour, and they did not tell me this was a non refundable payment. His wife explained to me it was to go ahead with making the arrangements for the surgery. But, of course, no arrangements had been made. I told them I put a hold on the payment. My credit card sided with the Doctor so his wife said I could get $2k worth of fillers and botox so I agreed. After going through all of this, she said that she felt I wouldn't be happy with the work because I was upset. She offered me $900 and I took it and ran. I was told by many in the medical field to turn him into to the A.M.A. for an unethical behavior. I was so unhappy that I didn't do that. I just lost $1100 for absolutely no service. This is so unethical. Meantime, I saw a local cosmetic surgeon. I signed a quote. It was NOT non refundable. He did the procedure for $3200. No peel necessary. He was fantastic,and did not seem greedy and unethical like Dr. Bukachevsky Please do shop around for a cosmetic surgeon. I find Dr. Bukachevsky greedy and unethical. He also spoke to me in a very condescending manner. I would not recommend him!

My first impression of Dr Donah was that she was a 20-something woman who must have gone to med school in her teens. Her face was perfect, beautiful skin, perfectly balanced cheekbones and jawline, and the right sized lips... not oversized balloons or thin blah lips, but just the right balance of full and natural. When she told me she was 50 I was blown away. I decided I wanted to know what on earth she was doing to keep her face looking like a dewy teen. And then I decided that whatever she was doing, I wanted a doctor who knew, first hand, what REAL natural beauty should look like. First of all, I could care less about getting a fake face that looks like every other crazy older lady, with frozen faces, no expressions, and huge "I' want to suck you" lips. I take good care of my body and my skin, and I have always liked my face because it is uniquely and always me. When I saw Dr Donah, I saw the results of someone who has access to all that modern technology has to offer, and has tastefully used it to keep her own natural beauty fresh and looking like she is 20. I don't care about the absent front desk staff or the locked waiting room. After having been to several of the local "med" spas in this area, and seeing what their staff and treatment pros look like, I always held back on most of what they would suggest until I tried a small amount of it myself first to make sure it wasn't too much or hideously fake. I didn't want whatever they were doing! As soon as I found out Dr Donah was 50 and still looking so young, fresh, alive, and beautiful, I knew I would take her recommendations for what I needed. I love that she is a small business owner, trying to make a go of it in a challenging and competitive field. That said, she is also an ER Doctor a few weeks per month. That means she is smart, fast on her feet, and trained enough to handle anything that comes up medically. I don't believe there is any doctor in slo who has better qualifications than Dr Donah, and her own results are exactly the look I want! the person who does my treatments is a real MD AND a woman who knows what beautiful and natural is, from the inside out.
