Service can get a little slow/hectic but the place is great and has tasty food/reasonable prices.

I've never been to the actual store but I ordered from Lilo's and the food is absolutely delicious.

It was a fortunate mistake though, because this place was much more than we expected. Walking in, you first see the clean, modern cafe. Since we quickly determined they didn't have the wrappers we came for, we instead got lunch. A helpful and patient guy at the cafe explained what everything was. My wife got a potato-filled pastry and a chicken-filled pastry. I got a chicken kabob bowl, a sweet cheese-filled pastry, and some fruity soda. The chicken bowl was the standout for me -- the chicken was crispy and well seasoned, the rice was well cooked, and there was some seasoned onions and cucumber on top. Generous portion for, I believe, $12. I'll definitely be back because I always enjoy a baklava and they had, by my count, 10 different types of baklava. We also saw a lot of interesting grocery items we'd like to explore when we have more time.

Instead of asking us to repeat or confirming the order, they acted as if they understood. After waiting about 20 minutes, we realized our order was incorrect, and we had to wait another 10 minutes for it to be fixed. English isn't my first language either, and I've worked in restaurants, so I understand that language barriers can happen. However, I think it's important to confirm an order when you're not sure. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I wouldn't come back.

The menu features a variety of snacks, boba tea, and traditional Nepali dishes like momos and chowmein, all prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients. The wife and I kinda stumbled upon Muju while in the area. We were heading somewhere else to eat, which happened to be closed, and we came upon Muju around the corner, saw the good reviews, and decided to give it a try. And we were glad we did. It's definitely an interesting place - you can order food at the front counter, there are tables to sit and eat, but then also an international grocery store in the middle of the building. We both ordered a tea, some Nepali spicy chicken chow mein, and an order of fried pork momo, which are their version of gyoza, or dumplings. Our food was delicious. The spicy chow mein definitely had a kick to it, but was very good. Dumplings are one of my absolute favorite foods, I usually prefer the thinner wrappers over the thicker ones - there were the thicker ones, but they were cooked so perfectly it didn't matter. Crispy outside, the meat filling inside was delicious. We're not in Utica often, but we'd definitely go back again if we were in the area,

You can get them steamed or fried in a variety of different styles/sauces. They also serve some noodle dishes and other foods and bubble teas. There are aisles of groceries from various countries, and a few chairs and tables in case you want to dine in. Also some fun miscellaneous import items. They really try to bring in a community here and welcome folks from all parts of the world. The owners collaborate with other internationally-born chefs and have other ventures like a meal sharing service app and grocery delivery. They're doing really amazing things and are worth checking out!
