I popped into this store today and had so much fun admiring all of the gorgeous ultra bright saturated funwear! I have some vintage Lilly Pulitzer pieces and was thrilled to see this brand is remaining firmly in their solid design roots of joyfulness. You can't look at these clothes without smiling. I visited with Debbie, one of the store's fashionistas who showed me the divine hot pink number that is trending huge on Tik Tok. This is my favorite store , my favorite brand. I've been to these stores in many locations, and unfortunately for me this is the only one left in California. The service was quite frankly the worst service I've ever had and I really hate saying that. I'm sure the woman that was trying to help me was just having a bad day, but it was very very unpleasant to have somebody following me so close and trying to get me to try things on. I had several things in the dressing room to try on, and I couldn't even concentrate because she kept asking me if I needed anything, and you would think this would be a good thing, but it was once every minute or so. I kept saying "I will let you know" and she kept coming back. Anyway, that is not a crime. What I found strange was , I said I would like to keep everything in the dressing room and keep looking for more items, then, I would narrow down what I wanted to purchase. The woman immediately started taking everything out of the dressing room and putting it back out onto the floor. I said "Could you please keep those in the dressing room? I haven't made a decision on them yet." And she held up a dress and she said "Even this?" And I just looked at her and in my head I thought well you lost a sale on that dress that's for sure. I would have bought so much more if she would have left me alone. It was honestly quite bizarre. Really terrible experience at a really gorgeous store . I had a friend come in a few weeks later and have the same sort of experience with the very same woman . Tall and slim and rather sour. I wish I would have come in on the days that all of these other people who gave five stars visited. I bought clothes to $1,000 worth of clothes and this woman was incredibly sour with me while wrapping up my items. Very poor experience. Please have a talk with this woman. read more

Entering this boutique is like walking into a great big smile! I just Love Lilly Pulitzer's signature bright, cheerful patterns of all things California in swirls of pink, aqua and sea foam green. The clothes just make me so happy! The Lilly Pulitzer boutique on El Paseo is a large, bright and cheerful space filled with all different categories of clothing: casual, beachwear, athletic wear, dressy and some sweaters and outerwear. There section dedicated to swimwear, coverups and beach/pool accessories has everything you need fir the beach or pool. The bathing suits are well made, come in a variety of styles and the colors are so Palm Springs! The coverups are just as attractive and fun. Plus sun hats, head wraps and beach bags! They have a full collection of athletic wear that I immediately fell in love with. Probably because we are all at home constantly and athletic wear has become my new uniform. Adding a few Lilly Pulitzer pieces to your own collection makes it anything but ordinary. They carry leggings in Capri and full lengths, t-shirts, zip up jackets, long sleeve half zip pullovers, headbands and baseball caps. I wanted everything! After trying on several styles and colors, I pulled myself away from the athletic top in shades of blue, aqua and greens - my typical color choices - and decided if I'm buying Lilly Pulitzer, I'm going all in, go big or go home! Chose a half zip pullover in pinks, aqua and sea foam green, the pattern filled with palm trees, the desert, pools, convertibles and other activities that represent the sunny state of California. Wearing this top while doing my walk in the cold and rainy Portland winter months will not only make me stand out, it will remind me of my fabulous trip to sunny Palm Springs. Talking about sunshine, a white knit sweater with the word "SUNNY" in large, pastel, color blocked letters across the chest caught my attention. I love and crave the sun and sunny is also an energy one gives off; I've been called "sunshine" more times than I can count. That sweater was coming home with me, there was no doubt. It had a very boxy cut which is not the style that works for me, I prefer fitted, so I actually went up two sizes so it had more of an oversized slouchy look. I was determined to make it work! Wore it that very evening for my last night in Palm Springs and the compliments were abundant. One of my favorite purchases ever! Rounding out the clothing line are maxi dresses, sheath dresses, jumpsuits, pants, tunics, and blouses - in adult and children's sizes for that Mommy / daughter look. Even cashmere wraps and shawls, many in solid colors to compliment the prints. For your home, there are cheerful pillows and throws. And don't forget the accessories, including face masks. What I particularly liked was the abundance of sizes available ranging from XS to XXL. Inclusion is the way to go. Thank you, Lilly Pulitzer, you listened and we all appreciate it! Krista was working the day I visited and she was incredibly helpful. Typically I shop on my own but since these colors and patterns are not my norm, I needed a "girlfriend" to give me honest opinions as I tried on a variety of styles and colors. Krista was my girlfriend that day, really observing how the different cuts complimented or didn't work for me. We both agreed on the two pieces I selected. Since my shopping was during Black Friday weekend (yes, Black Friday is no longer the day after Thanksgiving, but continues to expand pre and post holiday) they had a 20% off every $100 spent deal. Fabulous shopping experience resulting in two new fun additions to my wardrobe. Highly recommend! read more
