This was my first time here as I just moved to Waynesville. I drove up and saw so much debris piled up outside, yet a neon sign said OPEN. I walked in and saw devastation to this once, I'm sure, pretty space. The owner and one other nail tech was working. They immediately apologized for the "mess" and asked if I'd rather go to another space that they had rented for customers that would prefer a less "messy and noisy" environment. I told her that I was just fine there. The techs could not have been more polite. There were 3 construction workers in the salon. These workers were diligently moving the soil, piecing together pipes, etc. As I was having my pedicure, I noticed the owner walk to a table where foil covered pans were. She began filling the plates with food and handing to the construction workers. They thanked me and said things would look much better the next time I came. I assured them none of that mattered to me and that I would be back. I left there not only with pretty shiny toenails but also affirmation that unity can exist. Thank you Lilly Nails and Maison. Lily changed my polish on my feet and nails. I asked for gel polish because it looks so pretty and stays on longer. My nail polish didn't even stay on a week before it started chipping. I truly think she used really old nail polish. There was so much construction going on at that time and I truly do not think she even had any running water. All the customers knew something was wrong, but she kept making excuses why she was not using water. She was not doing any pedicures, just strictly services that did not require water. As I stated above my nail polish was not done neatly and it's already chipping seven days after it was done. Would not recommend and I will never go again. read more

I wish I had read all the reviews before I scheduled an appointment. Apparently, they do not honor their appointment times. I waited for 15 minutes before I was led to a seat. Lily the owner wrapped my nails with the foil and acetone and then left me for 50 minutes. Being there for over an hour with no one bothering to even check on me was unacceptable. This 3 is due to the laughable cuticle push back! All employees I have found, including the owner, make a faux attempt to push cuticles back and then clip cuticles as though there were plenty of cuticle to remove. This all leads to cuticle growth toward the new manicure within one week. I am not satisfied with this new employee as nails are too short and cuticles are ugly, after one week! I love Lilly's the only complaint I have is one of the male nail nail techs! The younger man is fantastic and I'm always pleased with him. The older one on the other hand is extremely rude. I went there today to get two of my nails fixed and he blamed it on my cold hands? Then he rushed through it and now the two nails he fixed isn't shaped right to match my others and the acrylic is to thick. I get it it's Friday and they were extremely busy but I also waited for a hour to get two nails fixed and he can't even do that right? The place sits in a crummy looking shopping center, and the little building itself is kind of hidden off to the side and is nothing to look at. The nail color choices seemed rather limited which is the other reason I didn't give this place five stars. Lilly's is a awesome nail salon! I've been going to her for my solar nails for a year and a half now. Lilly and all her staff are very friendly and courteous. I'm always greeted with a warm welcome there.Wait times for walk-ins are minimal, and appointments are available. She offers many services including mani's, pedi's, acrylics, solar and waxing as well! I have never had any problems with my nails, no lift, no fungal infection, ect. She does beautiful free hand designs. Her salon is very clean as well! I hope I never have to go anywhere else!
