I called a few salons and even stopped by some and talked to a few stylists to get a feel for them, and then I met Carey! Not only is she sweet and kind, she is professional and knows what she is talking about. I had my hair cut by her today and I am more than thrilled! She did a fantastic job, exactly what I wanted! The owner Michelle was there too and is just as wonderful! Great casual atmosphere and excellent service! Trust me, Carey knows how to cut natural curly hair the right way, not very many people do! You will NOT be disappointed! If Carey is great at cutting natural curly, then she can cut just about any kind of hair! Thanks Carey, you are the best! UPDATE: Carey is now the new owner of Salon 432 as of the first of the year! She earned it! So far I have sent a few of my friends to Carey and they love her! They rave about how well she does their hair and how professional she is! I personally will not seek out another hair stylist, no need, Carey is a keeper!

I have had my hair cut dry for years. That is the way to cut curly hair for obvious reasons... you can look it up, but she refused to cut it dry. I thought I was the customer? Anyway, I decided to stay. She had an assistant wash my hair. I gave her a tip, too. S***y seemed to give me a good cut and bragged about how good she was while doing it. When I got home, I checked the length all over, and I was very upset when I noticed places on my right side that were at least a half inch longer. It was very obvious! My husband could even tell! Thus, the reason why I wanted my hair cut dry. I called the salon to see if I could get in for a quick fix. I was told that I would have to wait several days until after the weekend! I was not happy, especially since I had just paid $101 to have my hair cut and gave a good tip!!! So, I fixed it myself, and it looks perfect. Had they fit me back into their schedule for what would have been a 5 minute fix, I would not be writing this! So just beware before you go. It's very expensive and you may not get someone who listens to what you want! I will never go back! Anyone who brags about how good they are, messes up my hair, won't fix it right away, and charges me a fortune is not for me! That's poor customer service! I have already found someone else. The first question I asked my new person was, "Do you cut naturally curly hair wet or dry", she said "dry"! Now, that is a professional who is updated with the current cuts!!!

Words cannot express enough about this fabulous Master stylist and salon that we are blessed to have in our small town. A salon of this caliber is usually found in a large metropolitan city like NYC or Atlanta. Unfortunately, Alisha wrote a poor review that is very unfair. Who brings a child to a salon that has exquisite decor and allows the child to run unattended and jump all over the furniture with muddy shoes? It is appalling and I credit Joey for not losing his composure as I clearly would have.
