I am a veteran of PT rehab stints having had two hip replacements, two rotator cuff surgeries, and one hip labrum tear surgery over the past 25+ years. I believe I know a thing or two about effective PT therapy. Not to take anything away from Athletico, who treated all of my above issues, the Elevate PT team is a significant cut above the typical PT practice. What stands them apart is their deep attentiveness to proper form and function, plus utilizing a frequent change of protocol to both challenge me and keep me motivated. Shivani's goal is not to just get me back to some sort of "status quo", but to make lasting improvements that leaves me better off than before my arrival at her practice. She also taught me many things that I could incorporate on my own to better manage my lower back issues, and those have proven to be quite useful. She pointed out and fixed things wrong with my gait and posture that no one had ever pointed out to me before. Her knowledge and ability to present it in non medical terms is really terrific. All the while doing this with an incredibly friendly and fun demeanor. After all was said and done, I was so impressed with Elevate's practice that I sent my wife there who unfortunately fractured her femur (surgery, rods and screws...the whole works) shortly after I completed my stint. I did pelvic floor PT after giving birth and experienced how big a difference that made, so with some new issues that's bothering me for a while I decided to give it another try. It was the best thing I did for myself this year. Emily fixed the muscles that are not in good shape, helped me get into good stretching routines and suggested how to modify my home office set up to avoid the problem in the future (we thought the cause was bad sitting posture from working from home....). All that's to say with 2 months of work I'm in a good shape in a sustainable way and that makes me so happy. Emily has such a calm and warm manner, I always found my visits relaxing and recharging. Aaron at the front desk is very friendly and easy to work with. They also only have 3 therapists that don't work at the same time, so the facility was never so busy as some other PT facilities I've been to. Maybe the only thing to note is their hours vary from day to day (very friendly to working ppl). So if nobody answers the phone, maybe try a different time. Pelvic floor issues are so easily overlooked yet they impact the body so much. Everyone deserves a good pelvic floor therapist!

They truly listen to what your pain and needs are, individualize and progress your program as you see improvement, and help you structure safe workouts outside of the office. I have been dealing with chronic pain, sciatica, numbness, and tingling from a herniated disc and stenosis for over a year and a half, and I am finally making significant progress. Eleni developed a plan that was completely customized to my needs. From gentle stretching, to dry needling, to gradually introducing strength training, I saw myself making real progress week after week thanks to her expertise and guidance. When I first walked in to the studio, reaching for my phone was uncomfortable. By the end of the physical therapy program, I had recovered a full range of motion and was doing pushups. When summer rolled around, I signed up for an intensive three day mountain biking clinic and was able to push myself much further than I had expected. I was absolutely thrilled with the progress I had made working with Eleni. Because of the great experience, I continued working with Eleni as a personal trainer after I completed PT, to focus on strength, flexibility, and stability. Chris was incredibly attentive and was able to break down my issue and provided a handful of stretches and practices for fixing my issue. While physical therapy wasn't warranted, if I ever need any help he's the guy I'm going to. As a medical professional myself, I especially appreciate that she is on top of the latest techniques and really tailors treatment to the individual. When I became pregnant with my second child, I resumed treatment and have since returned intermittently for various concerns. Most recently I was having issue with one of my children and she immediately got back to me with referrals. It's very rare to find someone who is both incredibly capable and wonderful to work with.
