But her salon is very busy, and you cant shedule apoitment with her on the next day. I am very busy mom with 2 small kids and I cant wait for a month to get refresh for my eyebrows. So I find Tia on Facebook. She was promoted her Facebook page. I am explaining her my situation. What I already have my permanent make up and its was done 2 years ago, I need to do refresh and maybe do a little bit thicker. If it's not to complicated. She told, she can do, she is very professional and have a license and insurance and I trusted her. On my appointment day, she gave me a lot of information. Her knowledge was excellent. Her prices is not so cheap and too expensive. So I was glad to find her. After my procedure was done, my eyebrows was look amazing. But after 2 week they starting loose color, (80%) changed shapes and right now I have 4 eyebrows. Horrible looking. I am immediately contacted her about what I have right now, send her a lots of pictures. She said I need to do touch up. I asked her how come?..on my appointment you told me my eyebrows will be good for 5 years. She told me that her goal is to keep clients from coming back every 2-3 years. All she said was bullshit. Plus she refused my touch up appointment. She told me she is not right technician for me. If you not right for me. Why did you take this job before? I spend $300.00 at her salon and give her a tip $40.00. After refusing my appointment for touch up. I asked her give me a full refund. $300.00 and you can keep a tip $40.00 for your time. I unfortunately had a very disappointing experience here, and I won't be returning…read more I brought my two-year-old son in for a haircut. For context, he does not sit independently in a barber chair, so I explained upfront that he typically sits on my lap during haircuts. The barber agreed and said we would make it work. Looking back, I wish that had been the point where he told me he wasn't comfortable cutting a toddler's hair. Instead, throughout the appointment, he repeatedly commented that my son needed to sit still. At one point, he even suggested that he was about to just give him a buzz cut. That was never what I requested. He also commented that my son's hair grew unevenly. I'm not sure how that conclusion was reached, considering the haircut itself ended up extremely uneven. By the time he started using the clippers to clean up the hairline, my son was understandably upset and crying. When I reassured my son, the barber responded that he was "barely touching him." Unfortunately, when we got home, I discovered visible redness and what appears to be clipper burn along the back of my son's neck. My son is two years old. Of course he isn't going to sit perfectly still in a barber chair. That is why I explained the situation before the haircut even began. I completely understand that working with young children requires patience and isn't everyone's specialty. There is absolutely nothing wrong with admitting that you aren't comfortable providing that service. What isn't okay is agreeing to work with a toddler, making the experience stressful for both the child and parent, and sending a child home with an uneven haircut and irritated skin. We have Christmas pictures coming up next weekend, and what should have been a simple haircut has turned into an upsetting experience. Please be upfront with parents if you aren't experienced or comfortable cutting young children's hair. A little honesty before starting would have saved everyone a lot of frustration.
