We have purchased from Kin Kin downtown Toronto and they have never disappointed us in terms of quality. There is no seating area. Came here for lunch because I had to work in the area for the whole day…read more I've been eyeing this place for a while since I like fusion food and trying out new places. I ordered the Butter Chicken Tacos and Masala Fries. If you don't like tacos, you can either make it a bowl, burrito, nachos, or poutine. The cost performance was solid. They were all reasonably priced and the tacos were bigger than I had pictured. The flavour was good with a good combination of toppings (lettuce, pico de gallo, cilantro, purple cabbage, cheese, pineapple salsa, pickled onions, pickled cucumber, and pickled thai chili) to choose from. FYI, guacamole is an additional $1. And there write about 4 different sauces to choose from and combine. The naan was a bit burnt but using that as a tacos shell was a great idea. I just wish the flavour of the butter chicken sauce was a bit stronger since the toppings overwhelmed it a bit. But that's just a tiny thing, as the dish was still great. Masala fries was made of fries tossed in masala powder with sauce on top (mint chutney, pico de gallo, etc) and the price was pretty reasonable for what you get. Would I considering visiting again? Definitely. One suggestion to the restaurant is that since the space is quite small and you can only have a couple people inside, it may be beneficial for the customer and the store to have the menu posted for those waiting in line outside the restaurant. You can technically see the menu from the outside but the reflection on the glass and the dark lighting inside makes it hard to see the menu even when its cloudy outside. My coworker and I passed by the place yesterday and thought the place was closed based on how dark the inside is.

The muffins are so moist and fresh and eye-poppingly cheap for what you get. They've also started serving actual meals that are really tasty. The air-fried chicken sandwhich is glistening and packed (no fillers here!) and the spaghetti and meatball recipe is from Grandma who's Italian (the sauce was chef's kiss tangy). And again, both of these dishes were so well priced for the portion sizes that you get. But at the end of the day, Zoomys is a juice bar. And while it is priced like Bay Street, the juices and smoothies here are 100% fruir no sugar added. And when you take a sip, you can taste that clean freshness to it. Definitely recommend this place. Whether you're looking for a healthy cleanse or hearty meal, Zoomys is a place to visit.

Whilst the interior is small, there is plenty of seating for what is essentially a snack bar, and definitely somewhere I could see myself spending an evening with friends over a good bite. From the tangy Pani Puri/gol gappe, mouthwatering bhel Puri and "chatpata" chaat, there's really something for everyone! Super flavourful and authentic, with tastes that'll remind you of home. Their paan is definitely the best paan I've ever had here in Canada, and made with love and fast service each time! Whilst it does get quite busy especially later into the night, it's definitely worth waiting for these treats. Samosa was big and came with a sweet chutney; it's also decently spicy! My only gripe is the amount of "stuff" that they give you for the curries. The Shahi Paneer scoop had maybe 3 tiny dice-sized cubes of paneer in that entire meal. Same goes with the paneer tikka - most of it was onions/other veggies. Takeout packaging is great! No spillage.

Very good lineup system. After ordering Chana Bhatura for takeaway, and carrying it home to eat, I was glad that they provided a very decent takeout container. It was black plastic with a transparent cover, divided into 3 parts, and they even wrapped the Bhatura with paper napkins to blot the oil from deep frying. Bhatura was a bit too oily even with the napkin to absorb the oil. Normally this is not the case but perhaps to save time they did not drip dry the oil before packing the takeout container. Will try to order again another day to give them a chance to improve upon this small detail. Otherwise it is a very decent portion size and looks okay. Chana was just okay not very flavourful and it was watery consistency, not given enough cooking time to thicken or absorb spices. At least they provide Pickles, green chilies, sliced purple onions, the Aloo potatoes were spiced with red chilies and flavourful. Note that the sign outside advertises a Chana Bhatura Special on Wednesdays for $3.99!

Everything looked so great, from the stews, to the soups, the various potato salads, the potato pancakes, the chicken skewers, the perogies, and so much more! This is all freshly made, and the prices are terrific! The lady serving behind the counter was the only employee in the store. In front of me in the line was a man who was clearly a regular. They spoke in polish, and he ordered a whole variety of take-out containers, turned to me, wielded a container of borshch, and said, "Best soup." The next customer spoke Ukrainian, which the lady at the counter spoke as well. Next, it was my turn to order. Although I could understand most of what they said, I speak Russian, and I was afraid to use it in an ethnically Ukrainian/Polish deli. So I went with English (that was a bit of a challenge for them), and got 2 dozen cottage cheese pierogis, as well as some borsch. I gave some pierogis to my Ukrainian mother, and she said that the pastry was beautifully tender. It was wonderful to go the the Whole Plate, because it is so traditional, and I can't get this sort of food in Pickering. If you are in the Roncy (Roncesvalles) neighborhood and crave some Eastern European delights, then The Whole Plate will satisfy the craving! Credit, Debit and Cash are all fine. Parking can be challenging, but the side streets usually have spots available. You really could fill your whole plate at this deli, and many of the customers ahead of me were older folks, buying their food stash for the week. How nice for them to get this taste of home cooking!
