It sits in a neighborhood where there is a train track running parallel to it. There is a home right beside it that is in disrepair and not kept up. Just an eye sore more than anything. The business itself is nice and clean with a pretty big patio space to enjoy your treats. There are a couple children's tables and a game on the patio as well. There are LOTS of flavors to choose from and ways to customize your treat with toppings, ice cream, etc. I had the coconut cream and the flavor was AMAZING! We went on grand opening day, to be honest the staff kept up with the line very well! They were polite & very helpful with the menu. You pay at the first window (to the front of the building) then you walk with your receipt to the side window to pick up. The shaved ice was a lot more flavorful than I expected which was a pleasant surprise! *Pro tip* The regular size is more than enough for two people, so you can certainly be thrifty if need be! I love how many flavors are offered, and I believe I even saw where they have sugar free options! That will work great for many who are trying to keep honest in their diets but allow a little fun in their meal planning. I did show military ID, but didn't receive a discount ( I think the young lady was just trying to keep up with the line & doing her best- it slipped her mind which is totally fine). I just love that it's even an option! Great grand opening, I can't wait to try more flavors!

The young lady behind the counter the evening of our visit was kind, professional and helpful. We had a couple questions about the whats and hows, she answered them with a smile. There is no real area to sit and eat here, so its mostly take it and go. A handful of benches but no table tops. We ordered a couple "hunks" of pizza (basically a quarter of a pie) and ice cream with a soda and tea. Simple easy and inexpensive. We sat on the outside bench while she prepared our pizzas, once ready the buzzer went off and I retrieved our boxed quarter pies from the service window. She made our ice creams in just a couple minutes and we were on our way back to our place.
