It such a nicely organized shop and there are so many amazing finds! What I love is I was seeing so many items I will see ads online for, so it is so great to be able to see the items in person. Also the displays are too cute! They had a display table with dad specific gear just in time for Father's Day. Also they had a cute kids tent setup which some children were immediately playing in once they stepped foot in the shop. It also looks like they occasionally have special events - I saw a flier for kids yoga. They also have some specific Nevada items. I would highly recommend checking out this shop!

The store is easy to find in the Foothills Shopping Center and parking is of no issue. The staff and owner are all incredibly kind and warm. They each struck up conversation and talked with every one of their customers. Laurie walked my daughter and I around the store showing us the different sections and items. They have so many amazing little outfits. There is an adorable selection of mommy and me dresses/skirts - absolutely perfect for those family photoshoots! They have a variety of bags for mom, toys for the kids, as well as some lotions/skincare with pretty clean ingredients, which was such a nice surprise. In the back of the store they have a small table that today had crafts for the kids (little easter masks), and cookies from the Cookie Corner, as well as an adorable photobooth set up! Laurie informed me that they will be able to host baby showers and other small events in the back which is a wonderful idea! I hope to be able to utilize this in the future. Such an adorable little store and I so look forward to coming back!

This evening, I visited the new location for the third time, arriving around 6:40 PM with a box of clothing I intended to sell. Upon entering, Jasmyn immediately asked, "How much stuff are you selling?" without a greeting or even a smile. Her tone came across as abrupt and unwelcoming. She added that if it was a large amount, I should have called ahead because they stop buying at 7:00 PM. Again, this was at 6:40. Her manner caught me off guard. It felt like my husband and I were seen as an inconvenience rather than valued customers. When I asked where to place the box, she told me to put it at the end of the counter, though there was no room. Thankfully, another employee made space for it. Still, no one came to assist further, so I left the box there and began browsing. About 10 minutes later, Jasmyn informed me that I needed to enter my number into the kiosk if I wanted to sell anything. I pointed out that she could have easily told me that when I first arrived with the box. Despite multiple employees being present and very few customers in the store, no one took the initiative to help. At that point, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I told Jasmyn that she had been rude and unhelpful and that I no longer wanted to sell my items. I returned to my car to get my husband to help carry the box out. As I sat in the car, my husband noticed Jasmyn through the window, gesturing animatedly and talking to her coworkers in a way that made it seem like she was discussing us. I went back inside and asked her if there was something she wanted to say to me. I let her know that I could see her through the window and reiterated that her behavior was rude and unprofessional. I also mentioned that perhaps she should receive some training in customer service especially since she seems to have plenty of time focused on making social media posts. If she is this comfortable treating customers this way, I doubt this was an isolated incident. I just wanted to give you a heads-up, as you've lost my business, and I imagine I may not be the only one.

LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST WERE YOUR AFFORDABLE & ECONOMICAL PRICES! My "Chinese" wife was awestruck by the LOW COST to such a degree that she commented to Marissa, "How can The Children Palace charge such LOW PRICES?" She felt as IF she were shopping in China! LOL! We are very loyal customers. Quality/Quantity - Here for the Wax and Watch event DIG. My first time and what an amazing event. Fundraising for so many nonprofits, see pictures. Also sponsored by Fifty Fifty Brewing Co; I had a few too many beers, too good of a time. I also found out about Fifty's Grand opening at RPM, which we also supported and attended the next day, see other Yelp Review. Non alcoholic drinks were also available. Too lazy to have brought our equipment for the wax. Plus Mt Rose gives us each 4 free waxes that I rarely use up. Raffle - We did NOT win. Atmosphere - Clean and organized location. Love the NV art on the side of the building/in the parking lot. Cool! See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 6pm. Small parking lot, but because we came in off peak (weird) hours, it is rarely an issue for us. And today we got lucky as the lot was full but a car gave us his space. Service - The team is so welcoming and friendly. This is the #1 reason we are loyal customers. Events available - See website. Again, my first but NOT last time that I will attend an event. We will probably come back Sunday for the Mt Rose Passholder Spring Sale. Price - Expensive, but worth the quality, service, and culture. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1973. Now we have added the following business to our list: Carhartt, Mt. Rose Wine Co., Reno Running Company, etc. Also, it helps us visit some of our favorite restaurants here - Land Ocean, Skipolinis, and Miyabi. Chipotle just opened, but we are not a customer any more. And a free standing Starbucks is STILL being built. Atmosphere - Huge mall that is rarely busy. Well, they are getting busier and busier again thanks to Trader Joe. Plenty of parking.
