J&E we're the first and only company to give us a bid that included photos, problems, and full report on there findings. They even offered other a-la-cart services for items they recommended like upgraded shingles, gutters, and upgraded roofing materials. No other roofing company offered this so i was very pleased with the options. I knew then I was going to hire J&E. All of there staff was very professional and helpful with navigating my roof replacement from 800 miles away. They kept me up to date on everything and in the loop. They delivered what they promised which is more than I can say for the roofer on my main home. The price I found was fair, J&E was a bit higher than some of the bids not the highest right in the middle for the bids I received. In todays world it is hard to find a trustworthy contractor and an honest one. You truly do get what you pay for with J&E plus some. I would recommend J&E to anybody in the southwestern Missouri area in need of a roof replacement or repair.

His work is professional, which is to be expected, but above and beyond that, he is a craftsman with an eye for detail. He is a good listener, attentive, and communicates well at every stage of a project. He is punctual and considerate, working to minimize mess (which is inevitable with any project) and making sure to clean up thoroughly afterwards. After using Allpro for 2 previous jobs, I knew I could trust Robert with my skylight install/living room ceiling remodel. Over the course of about two weeks, Robert and his team showed promptly, worked very hard, and did an outstanding job (even removing a bird that had recently died in our attic). Our home is now full of natural light, which I love. In fact, I don't have to turn lights on until the sun goes down. On very sunny days, I can control how much light comes through thanks to Robert's advise to get remote controlled blinds with the skylights. Insurance that would not cover us due to poor quality workmanship, and leaks. This was a real problem. We contacted John Cotton Roofing and were surprised to be told that he would be out within 2 days to have a look at the property. John was very forthcoming with an honest, and clear explanation of the issues surrounding our roof and a solid run down of the options we had to correct the problems. We came to an agreement with John on what options we were wanting (For us it was a completely new roof including underlay panels). John and his crew were very good with communication, and available when I called to confirm any details. The roof was stripped and rebuilt the very same day. His workers were diligent and respectful, and above all else hard working. Now after the workers had left and my wife and I did the applicable 360 of the house, to admire our new roof we agreed that we would now need to paint our vent pipes to match the high standard of our new roof. This was not in our agreement with John as we were happy to do this ourselves. I planned to do this the next weekend after work. I went to work the next day and when I arrived home I was surprised to see that all of the vents and chimney on the roof had their flashing upgraded and the pipes painted. I contacted John and he informed me that he had been reviewing the photos of the work that his crew had done and just felt that the job was unfinished. He took it upon himself to ensure that the finishing touches that made my roof complete were completed. This is something John Cotton Roofing did without being asked and without cost to me. So, a huge shout out to John, his family, and his team. Thank you for the fantastic job.
