The chicken skewers had nuts and that needs to be communicated to people. The room was cramped and the set up wasn't ideal but the food was very flavorful. kudos to the chef. So my friend who invited me to go along with him for a golf outing we played 18 holes. The greenskeeper yelled at me because I didn't have my shirt tucked in. OK I understand some places have these rules so I talk to my shirt. But then we went inside to the either the lounge or the casual dining room. I can't remember whichever one's upstairs and we wanted to get something to eat. They told me that you know you have to be dressed nice to be in the casual dining room. And when we were in there, this guy comes in in a cut off shirt like a muscle shirt. He has flip-flops on and dirty jeans. Nobody yelled at him for that, but I get yelled at on the course because I didn't have my shirt tucked. But now I gotta smell toe jam and this guy smelled like he played 36 holes in 200° weather nobody said anything to him so he must be a big spender. I would give them a better star rating cause they did have a nice golf course in the inside was very nice. However they had issues with dress attire with only certain people and not other people.

Truly an amazing experience for any car and need for speed demons out there at all levels…read more I thought the day was great, the staff, the management and all were superb. Nervous at first trying to keep up in the training class, but once in the car all was well. I had one car in front of me that would not listen, but I did get a few extra laps to make up for that. My experience was great. I drove it like I stole it. I think some folks expectations are not realistic. There where two guys who should not have thought about even getting in the car. I guess that is why they sell the insurance. I am a bigger guy, 6'-4" 280 lbs and had no issues getting in and out of the car. I can drive a stick, so that was not an issue for me. But you only have to shift once, so for the non-stick people, it is very easy. I would highly recommend.

This is not an experience I can recommend at all…read more Right off the bat, we're told in the information packet not to be late because the drivers' meeting WILL START ON TIME (emphasis theirs). Ours started almost an hour late. For the first 30 minutes, no one on the staff seemed to even notice that the instructor hadn't showed up. Finally we were told (after one gentleman actually had to go find someone for an explanation) that he'd be with us in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, the instructor showed up with a story about how most of the crew failed to show up for work and he had to call in his family to come and assist, and that someone had put diesel fuel in all the cars so they were fixing that mistake. I was not filled with confidence. Not being someone with any racing experience, I was a little comforted when he assured us that our only goal was to have fun. Unfortunately, the man on the radio when you're actually racing didn't share that view and really just likes to yell at you for driving too slowly. Also, despite going on and on in the promotional materials about how this is a real racing experience and you can pass at any time, that's not true at all. You're only allowed to pass at certain places on the track and only when the radio man tells you to. Basically, you just do what you're told. It wasn't any fun at all. Also, the cars are real clunkers. I wasn't expecting shiny new TV-ready cars, but these didn't even feel safe and just belched smoke.

In terms of course layout, maintenance, and general quality, Totteridge is nicer than a municipal…read morecourse. That said, the course charges resort-course green fees that I believe are too high for what's offered here. As of now, the weekend green fees is roughly $90, and I feel like $60-70 is more on par for what it should be. The course itself is challenging, but fair. There aren't any greens that are impossible, and there are several yards of rough on each side of the fairways before you get into serious hazards (meaning the average golfer has a little room to miss before being penalized, which I like). And the grounds crew does a nice job keeping the fairways and greens in good condition (though par 3 tee boxes could be improved). Overall, I'd come back and play again every once and I while, but I wouldn't make it a home course because it's a bit overpriced in my eyes.

But for nearly $100, the price doesn't match the quality. I found the starter to be friendly while the gentlemen working the bag drop off area clearly weren't having a great day.
