Wow. $10 entry fee gets you parking, entertainment, and all the rides you can stomach. What a…read morevalue. Especially considering that most county fairs seem to be an exercise in separating you from your wallet. Not only that, but there are incredibly reasonable deals on food and water. Bottles of water are only a dollar at most vendors. I saw a $1 grilled cheese sandwich. You can buy a walking onion for $3. A walking onion? I have no idea. It was too hot for me to consider eating something that was billed to taste like french onion soup. But now, I regret the decision. I did try one of the $6 pit beef sandwiches after seeing the smoker in the back. Man, that was serious and resulted in a fantastic smoke ring. And the $4 milkshakes were pretty fantastic, especially the strawberry. And no fair experience is complete without funnel cake. The one from the permanent structure was fantastic. Also we took in a clogging show and watched a whole lot of goats get judged. The rides were a lot of fun for the kids. I found the ferris wheel to be terrifying, but enjoyed the bumper cars. I'm really hoping that we make it back here next year during fair week, because this place is fantastic.

The camp store was really neat too! They had just about everything you could need and more. I'd definitely stay here again.

We visited the koa which came with a complimentary pass to mylan park facilities. We used the pool…read moreand sports complex. The sports comolex is NICE. I wish there was something like this around me. A giant gym with basketball hoops, soccer nets, pickle ball courts, and a bin of balls for public use. Everything was well taken care of. There was A LOT of construction going on while we were there, making it difficult to actually reach the facility. We went to the pool almost every day. Thr hours are super weird, so be sure to check the schedule. Some times they have the splash pad open, others everything is closed for classes. They have a wristband system to keep track of which water slide kids could use. That was only in place for maybe 20 minutes during our first visit. Some kids were given bands, others weren't. The problem was nobody was there to measure kids most if the time, so they probably need to rethink this system. The pool itself was fairly warm, making it easy to get right in. We enjoyed our time at both places and hope to make it back some time soon.

There is plenty of parking. Some decking style docks along river to stroll, a gazebo, a few shelters & picnic tables (no grills) there is a very nice bathroom facility near the oversized Children's fabulous playground with swings. Plenty of signage depicting the history with photos along with name plaques for the trees. Some beautiful wildflowers and wildlife including plenty of ducks with babies. Definitely a great little place to enjoy some fresh air. There is also a shaved ice truck and you can rent paddle bikes for the river. Several nice memorials including one of President JFK

This is gem of a park and would be worth a stop off 68 if driving through with kids. They have two…read moreplayground areas that are well worth it. I went to the smaller one for younger kids and it was better than most of the playgrounds in Columbus. The only downside is they were missing their kid swings, hopefully they get those up soon. The toddler area is beside two Pavilions, restrooms, a place to grill, gazebo, and plenty of grass. You can park within 100 yards of the playground so you can walk to your car with your eyes on the kids. The pavilion has a charcoal grill if you need it. I didn't make it to the other side but they supposedly have a newer and better playground for a little bit older kids. They also have a few softball fields. The toddler playground has two toddler swings, two tire swings, 4-5 slides with one twisting and scary for two year olds. They also have a tunnel or two to walk through, a variety of ladders, climbing walls, monkey bars, and rings. Come here while waiting for Hey Pizza is not a bad idea. It is less than a mile from 68 so it would be quick stop and let the kids run type of place.
