However leave disappointed and upset that the location and the leadership team feels it's okay to advertise a special price online and then not honor that price once I get to the store. I've been coming to this Lightshade location for over 5 years and have always had a great experience with everyone. I came in today and had Justice as my cashier and he was the rudest person I have ever come across. He acted like I was bothering him, super rude. I then proceed to the take out window where Justice took it upon himself to pick out my items and put it in a bag. When I got out to my car, I checked the receipt and items (which I never have to) and my order was wrong. I went back in there and the nice ladies at the reception desk proceeded to go back and tell him my order was wrong, he laughed it off and the receptionist then grabbed the right cartridges. I've confirmed several times with my bank and you all & have SHOWN YOUR STAFF the charge my statements where you all in fact did double charge me TWICE! if the customer has the evidence showing that they were charged and it's confirmed where's the ARGUMENT?! you all have stolen my money and probably other customers as well and because someone is calling it out you have this 3rd party vendor response? Well that wasn't the response when you all Double charged me the first time...you immediately apologized and resolved the issue...all of a sudden you cannot return funds that you charged? And it shows up in your accounting reports so STOP! this site has something going on here! Very polite but would not honor the prices they had advertised on LeafBuyer. A clever stoner shops at Denver Dispensary where they did honor the admittedly awesome prices listed on the web, so I ended up with a 1/2 oz. of Sour 91 Pie (30% THC!!!), two grams of live resin, a couple pre rolls and a bag of cookies for $160, which was outstanding. Lightshade has a trendy location, so you're paying premium rent on top of the cost of your purchase. All in all, just a bad deal. I was frankly a little disappointed by this dispensary although the quality was on point, I'm never impressed by dispensaries that don't list their prices outright and pressure customers. I think all the prices should be listed easily and it shouldn't be a burden on the customer trying to determine the price. Plus the prices weren't that comparable to other dispensaries. I usually go to another dispensary but I needed to use my CC. Payday was a few days away. So, I decided to go to my back up location. LightShade. Now ... I have been here a few times. Something always nagged at me to double check their weight. So today, 4/27/2018, I did just that. I purchased a quarter ounce of something called White 99. Looked and smelled good. Tight bids, that were fairly large. It came to me in 2 separate canisters in the typical black canister with a white lid. Each SHOULD weigh 3.5 grams to equal out to 7 grams or 1/4 ounce. One canister weighed 3.1 grams and the other weighed 3.2 grams. They are more expensive compared to other dispensaries. I use to get a Veteran's discount but not today. The guy was kind of rude as well. I am not going back! My regular dispensary weighs everything right in front of me. My scale always agreed with theirs. It's not pre packaged like this place. Unfortunately this is one of the dispensaries that make you think you're getting a great deal- but most the time you aren't. For example. Recently I bought an ounce of "Durban poison shake." When I got home and looked at it, I had almost 21 grams of sugar leaf or trim, 2.5 grams of stems and seeds, and roughly 4.5 grams of actually shake or small weed. 21 grams of my ounce was literally the unwanted product that is trimmed from the plants. Then they threw in a tiny little handful of buds so they could call it "Durban poison shake.." it was not from the bottom of the Durban poison jar and I can guarantee that. So. If you're a person who knows the difference between trim and shake, or if you are a person who enjoys getting high when you smoke weed, or if you're a person who enjoys any sort of thc in your weed, i would NOT recommend getting "shake" from here. They have very great weed for higher prices, which furthermore proves to me that the "shake" they sell is complete garbage and they are using TRASH leftovers to make money off of us. read more

For the most part the majority of the staff are friendly or should I say they do their job to the minimum. The people at the front desk that you check in with are always extremely pleasant and provide service with a smile unlike the majority of the females the work in the back, it is not a requirement to tip especially when all the cashier does is grab the product and cash you out. I have been a server for over 15 years and even then I don't expect a tip because people are different especially when you don't give them the services they are expecting! I think it is very rude for the female Employees to discuss amongst each other in front of the guest and the buyers that they are not getting tipped or have not gotten tips by those certain people. The bud tenders are paid hourly and are very well taken care of, I only know this because I have numerous bud tender friends so he tip is considered a benefit or a bonus in reflection to over the top hospitality or simply friendliness which is seldomly provided. read more

11/22/17- Man oh man, where do I even start with this one.. This is was my first time going to a legalized dispensary, and I must say it was quite the experience, lol. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by a guy with dreads, super nice and informative. In order to get goods, you just needed a valid I.D. You wait for about 10 mins in a little waiting area and then your name is called inviting you to the next room to meet a treetender, who went over everything they had and what not- they had a great selection. I tried the orange herijuana, white dawg, and borderliner. The white dawg was the best in my opinion, the other ones were great too, I just felt like I could get it somewhere back home. I also got a chance to try some of the edibles, orange-citrus gummies and s'more brownies... honestly I didn't feel much after eating one, so I had to atleast eat two + smoke to be where I wanted to be. But they were cool to try nonetheless. Black Friday was really the day to go (and I did) because they had $15 eighths! Can't beat that. Next time I'm in Colorado, I will definitely have to make a stop here! Keep up the great work guys. read more

Great pricing but set up in the actual dispensary could be much more efficient. Everytime i go in they always push placing an online order but when you do place an online order there is no real benefit to it??? You still have to wait outside in the line and you still have to go to the bud tending station and THEN you still have to wait for your purchase at the other counter. And there is never like a separate area where the "online orders" have been pre bagged and placed somewhere separate. There is no real benefit to it. It's frustrating placing an order online thinking "this will just be in and out since I've already placed my order" but no. You still have to be in there for 30 minutes. Super frustrating for us who place the orders and get "praised" for placing the order but when you get there you're still waiting in the lines??? It makes not a lot of sense to me. Most other dispensaries have separate locations for online orders AND they already have them ready. You guys even send out text messages when you place the orders online about "receiving the order" and then "bagging the order" and you even get a "order is ready for pick up" text. Just seems like a lot of nonsense and extra steps for nothing. read more

I was surprised to see that Lightshade doesn't have very many reviews on Yelp, particularly because they always have satisfied customers coming in and leaving with what they need. The staff here is always helpful and courteous, not to mention that they have so many great deals literally all the time. I went here because I was not in the mood to fight rush hour traffic to go to my normal place and Lightshade was right up the street from my house. I can't speak to the flower but they didn't have any indica refills and the bud tender was not very knowledgeable about concentrates. She also apologized for the limited stock. A business representative should NEVER apologize for the amount of product. They should show why the product they sell is worth my money. They do take credit cards and their prices weren't bad earning them 3 stars. read more

I recommend always bringing cash, my card was double charged and posted. the manager, who was reluctant to help me, looked up transactions and told me it was mine and my banks problem. Then proceeded to ask if I would be shopping that day ‍ I called my bank, and opened an inquiry. 2 minutes later, I got a call from the company that handles their debit payments because the manager reached out to them? Today I purchased 3 shatters, 2 were opened for me before I left the building, but one was not. When I got home the shatter that was not shown to me in the store before leaving was actually Budder not shatter. (Honestly I didn't mind at first) but then I noticed that the lightshade sticker on the packaging said "shatter" so I thought their inventory might be off since I did not receive the correct product that matched the label. The front desk was super professional and helpful. So I drove back to the shop, once the I got there I was greeted by the helpful front desk staff, but My experience turned south when the Manager Sierra came out and didn't apologize for the mix up she accused me of lying about not seeing the product, when I insisted she watch the cameras she seemed to roll her eyes then stormed in the back of the shop, then came back and replaced my product by dropping it on the front desk and storming back to the back room.. no apology, she didn't even look at me. This has been the rudest encounter with a customer service manager I have ever experienced. I will not be coming back to this location due to the extreme lack of professionalism by the manager Sierra, it's disappointing because Lightshade as a whole is an amazing company.
