We called Jonathan for a consultation and estimate to install a generator for our home. Jonathan…read moreand Nate looked the area over and looked at the generator( online) I was planning to purchase. Everything was workable. Jon emailed an estimate and the job was a go. They showed up when they said and did an awesome job. They installed the first part and had to come back when Otsego Electric could turn the power off. They installed a new entrance box. The current one was 57 years old and had problems. Hooked up the transfer box for the generator. OE came and turned the power back on. The generator works amazingly. Jon and Nate took care of contacting OE and the inspectors. Jonathan's price was better than I expected, especially having to do a new entrance box. Thank you Jonathan and Nate for a wonderful experience in getting this job done.

Westcott (Monte) came over for the initial scoping of the project, and then Jim and Mike were the…read moreelectricians who performed the upgrades over a period of two days. The project was to upgrade my old Federal Pacific 150A load center (30 circuits) with a Square-D QO 200A load center (54 spaces 64 circuits). There are now *plenty* circuit breaker spaces free for future additions, or for MWBC conversions to more modern wiring standards which use AFCI or G/AFCI (which do not, for the majority of cases, support multi wire branch circuits, aka "shared neutral", 120V-N-120V setups). Also upgraded my 150A service to 200A service. This required NYSEG to come in and hook up the new meter and such after about 2 weeks. During this period of time, the new load center was jumpered in from the old load center's range circuit breaker, via a short length of service entrance cable, hooked up into a double pole, 50A circuit breaker in the new panel. The old panel and jumper were removed by Jim as the final cleanup and finalization process. Value wise, well, I won't sugarcoat it--it was expensive. But then I realized there were 2 people who worked 20 hours over 2 days, and it was pretty hard work too, definitely they've earned it. The cleanliness and organization of the work itself was great. They used EMT conduit, junction boxes, and THHN wires running between to eliminate having to use NM wires for the ~3ft extension to the new load center's location, which would have been both ugly looking and clunky. I also had my contractor, who used to be a telecoms engineer as well as an electrician, look over their work, and he agreed it was well done.

Last week we had need of a plumber. Not knowing one we tried GP&H to fix our shower. We will never have to look for a plumber again. we had just as great an experience with their plumber as we did with out boiler. we called he was there the next day and within the next few days had ordered our parts and repaired out shower. I think it was four or five days from phone call to completion and that included ordering parts. I cannot recommend their services any higher. Above and beyond service great workmanship all in a short time!!!!! Thank you GP&H!

My husband works, so I was the one dealing with the furnace. David explained everything to me and helped me every step of the way. He even told me about rebates that I never would have known existed. He sat at my table and helped me fill the rebate paperwork out. His pricing was more than fair, and he never complained when I called him with questions. And being a female, he always made me feel like he had my best interest at heart and never made me feel uncomfortable or ill at ease. I would highly recommend him. Especially for elderly or single women. He will not rip you off. He is clearly an honest, dependable, caring man.
